Very good compact automatic watch. Very classy. Only disadvantage is visibility from all angles is not so good dye to domed dial. Nonetheless domed dial also is one of the special feature. All n all very good dress watch

Pros: This watch has a Japanese made, hackable, automatic movement. For this price, ($130) every other thing is a steal. The finish on a glance and even a closer look is sharp and shiny. Especially the hands and dial faces they are sharp. Cons: (see update) "Need to note that if you are very attention to detail, the marker on my 12 has two very slight stain. The stain I believe will lead to corrosion on the chrome marker eventually. It needs to be very very very ultra careful to observe. No normal wearing ocation, even a close look will see this. You will need to study every part one by one, kind of smelling it distance to see it." The leather band is very hard and the finish looks very over glossy. The hardness will be soften as wearing, I've worn these kind watch band before on another orient quartz watch. I have mine leather band changed to a softer finish one. Very hard to find a good quality 21mm for that style. If you are not really very falling in love to the dial design, I think the 4th generation with steel bracelet is a better choice. It will have less hessle. Update May 2020 Got a 21mm 5 segment metal bracelet with flat solid end piece. The matching round end piece is hard to find. I changed mine because a metal bracelet is easier to match different outfit. However I still think this watch look best with my leather band. Another update. The 12am marker imperfection is my illusion. I think the dial looks perfect. The movement is high quality. Adjusting time can be easily accurately point to the minute marker. Super sharp.

First impression - stunning! This is my first Orient watch, and the value for the price is outstanding. Exactly what is expected from a classic business formal dress watch. The exterior seems to be flawless - good size, weight and presentation. Just the right amount of shining for a formal event. I hope the time keeping will also be at the right level. I own a few automatics (Tissot Couturier Crhono, LeLocle and Seiko 5 sports) and all of them are great time keepers. Let’s see what Orient can do.
