मिर्जा गालिब की शायरी अपने अद्वितीय साहित्यिक स्तर, भाषा सौंदर्य और रसपूर्णता के कारण पिछली एक सदी से चर्चित है। गालिब का कलाम गूढ़ होने के कारण इस के प्रायः तरहतरह के अर्थ निकाल लिए जाते हैं- हिंदी काव्यप्रेमी पाठकों को फारसी या उर्दू का ज्ञान नहीं होने के कारण शेरों को समझने में बड़ी कठिनाई होती है।

The book content is good, as it is based in a story scenario. But Rupa publication should really check their spelling as there is a lot of mistakes, two mistakes on every page on average. And also pages are very thin as for the price.

I know these are urdu words, but most of the time you dont understand the words and you can't even find them in google. I am facing a lot of issue in reading this book. Either the spellings or not right as I am not able to Google them or words are so unique you can't find them. I was so excited reading it, now I feel I can't get in anyway.

agar jina hai aapko purani Delhi ki galion me to zarur is book padhna, agar Mirza galib ko samjhna hai to zarur padhna. Thank you gulzar sir for this book.

It never gets old.....The words,Kasim jan ki Gali, Ustado ki wah wah, woh Ghazal e...............I remember my old days in Lucknow..... You can purchase it definitely. If you have seen the TV Serial then you will like it more, if not then also. It will tell you about Ghalib better through a story, his life, his story. Gulzar sab has done an almost immaculate job, wonderful words, wonderful writing.....A must PURCHASE.
