Mercedes-Benz C-Class

This was bought for a friend who was having trouble chasing down an electrical fault, having failed to sort it for a number of weeks. With the aid of this manual, it was diagnosed and repaired in three days. It also doubles as a handbook. A really worthwhile buy.

Does what it says on the tin as they say

This is a useful guide which will point the owner/driver/home mechanic in the right direction. Detail is sometimes sketchy but it enables me to start in the right place. Recommended, especially for the not too difficult jobs. The illustrations could have been clearer.

It's a Haynes work shop manual. Its brilliant.

Very poor quality paper. Hoped to trace fault with parking sensors, no information in manual.

It hasn't got as much information as I hoped. This is a great book if you are somewhat a beginner with merc c class. The issue is - I was looking for ways to get to the coolant block heater but this doesn't mention that at all. But it does mention things like exhaust manifold removal which i know is necessary for the block heater removal.

I have been looking for a Haynes manual on my car for ages, especially as my car is getting old and it had developed a fault due I wanted to investigate. There are two versions of this manual though, the one which uses 'thru' on the cover is for the American versions of the car. This one is for the UK version. The electrical wiring diagrams seems to be correct since it explains the fault I have and now I know how to fix it. Well worth having if you are a C-Class saloon owner.

GOOD INFO

Photographic Illustrations are very poor and in some cases very hard to see. I found the photography (black and white) very small and not very well illuminated. Think next time i might go for a on line version.
