My only regret on this purchase is that I waited so long to buy this cover. The silicone fits pefectly, the color matches the speaker exactly, and I clip a carabiner to the case's triangular hook and never worry about hanging my speaker off a bag or my belt. I paid so little for this JBL that I balked at spending a few more bucks to protect it—but this isn't so much about protecting the speaker as enhancing the user experience. Better grip, softer edges, buttons still easy to access, and easy to clip. I'm sold.

Just the size and sound output. I leave this in my suitcase for all travel. It is small enough to clear the cruise line rules and it stays in the room. Great size for around a fire pit or patio table.

UPDATE: That little flap issue is no longer an issue. After the first few times lifting it, it was never a problem again. It was just so new that it made it tougher at first. And - the metal clip is still attached!!! —————————————————————— Just like so many others I think this case is terrific protection & cushioning for my JBL. It goes on quick, fits snug and allows access to all buttons in top. I only have one small issue.... When I had to recharge my speaker I was not able to raise the flap on the access port without partially removing the cover. The opening is so perfectly made there is no wiggle room (literally) to get my finger inside to lift it. In all fairness I’ve only had the case a few days and had to charge it up once. Maybe with other attempts it’ll become easier. I’m optimistic. No matter, I still think it’s great protection for a speaker I adore. And, no - I’ve had no issues with the metal clip breaking - it’s still attached!
