Well, the book flows along smoothly with an easy to understand plot. Mitch, the protagonist, although showcased as extremely smart, seems too smart to be real ! With luck on his side and the author kneading him to succeed, he does get away in the end ! As every good ending should !

Seems dated in todays modern world. Today’s tech has become very sophisticated. Probably in the 90s it might have been a real clincher for a reader to know or hear about Cayman , Bahamas being used as a tax haven. But in today’s world this might be rather common and well established route to evade taxes. Though the book is an interesting read. Keeps you entertained till the end. But the author could have kept the book relatively short.

Excellent book, thrilling, love to read 📚 again and again

This book is too self-centered. It is thrilling at times but loses steam often.Sometimes the author describes unnecessary things in this novel.As it is a thriller you expect suspense to build up after 50 pgs. but it takes 200 or more pages to gain sufficient speed. The last part of the novel is totally unbelievable(literally).

You can’t stop reading once you start the book. Excellent work as always by the author. John Grisham never disappoints

This was the book which made John Grisham an overnight bestselling author, and I can see why. The Tom Cruise starrer movie based on the book may be more famous than the book it based on, but I seriously recommend reading the book as well, preferably before watching the movie. Brilliant characterization supplemented by a thrilling and fast paced plot. Entirely plausible sequences. If you haven't read John Grisham before, start with this title. It is definitely worth the money, and more.
