The Ace Pro 2 is a serious step up from the original Ace Pro and competes directly at the top of the action camera market. The larger 1/1.3-inch sensor makes a genuine difference — low-light footage is noticeably cleaner than GoPro's Hero 13 equivalent, and the Active HDR mode handles blown-out skies and deep shadows impressively well for an action cam. The flip screen remains one of the best features for vlogging and self-shooting. Stabilisation is excellent — AI-powered horizon levelling keeps footage smooth even during rough movement, and the 4K footage quality straight out of camera is very strong. The Flash Print bundle includes useful extras that save separate purchases, which adds good value at this price. Battery life is the main limitation — you're getting around 70-80 minutes of real-world shooting at high quality settings, so carrying a spare is advisable for longer sessions. The Insta360 app is feature-rich but can be slow to process longer clips. That said, for anyone wanting a premium action camera with excellent low-light performance and a genuinely useful flip screen, the Ace Pro 2 earns its place at the top of the category.
