Amazon Essentials Men's Regular-Fit Crewneck T-Shirts, Long-Sleeve

I really like these shirts and have ordered a number of them so far. They're warm and comfortable and are of overall good quality. They will shrink substantially, and the arm length will be reduced. That being said I just order them a size larger than what I typically wear and know that the sleeves will be a bit short. Otherwise they're a quality shirt. The material is thick, but not overly so, and they don't seem to fade even after numerous washes. These shirts are durable, well-made, and are a good value.

Very impressed with the quality! Bought December of 2025. The bright blue color is just a little bit darker in person. The material is surprisingly soft. The material is much thicker than a Hanes or Gildan shirt in the same style. True to size. Pocket on the front seems a little small compared to other pocket t-shirts, but the stitching is done nicely. I paid $8.40 per shirt which seems like a steal for the quality. Would buy again!

I ordered this in a large along with a Hanes brand in a medium to do a side by side comparison. Both were worn for a time before wash (the Amazon Essentials for several days, the Hanes for two or three). I'm a sliver under 5'7" and approx @ time of review 148lbs. The Amazon Essentials was slightly big on me out of the bag, as I expected, but I'd been uncertain about shrinkage and my default is to get large. Normally I like these kind of shirts more loose than tight. The Amazon essentials was at a size that was literally on the line of "almost too big for me" and "I could live with this for sleeping purposes and around the house" Fortunately it did shrink in length in the sleeves and at the waist where it really fits close to perfectly (still loose, but the visual would be difficult to pin as 'too big'). I have the ever so slightest of fabric bunching at the chest along the where the top of the sleeves meet, but as I stated, it's almost unnoticeable (really only by my attentive eye) and overall the shirt fits comfortably and appears to be well stitched with good quality material. There was not color fade that I could detect (dark navy) and I did dry it on a hot (not delicate material) setting in the dryer. It states it was made in Vietnam, if that is of interest. I will order another after finishing this review. As a side note in comparison, the Hanes I ordered was only available in a medium (which worried me) and out of the bag was tighter than i normally like (not skin tight, but tight for a person who likes their clothes slightly loose fitting. Fortunately after washing and drying there was almost no shrinkage (it's a 60-40 blend) and absolutely zero color-fade. Although it was slightly more snug, the material and stitching was well done to the extent I could do the backhand internal stretch technique carefully (hand and arm under shirt while wearing it, push out at chest and various areas slowly and carefully with back of hand). I can tell the tightness would be more beneficial for the cooler nights we get here in the south during the winter and would be sufficient to wear with or without a light hoodie or jacket. I'd say the quality side by side is almost identical, with the Hanes only slightly ahead due to deep color and perhaps slightly better material and was only under $8.00 u.s.d at another WeLL known MART with a strong online presence. Finally; the MAIN description I am reading above my review and on the main page does not mention it having a pocket, but it does (as mentioned in the detail description) just in case someone might overlook it.

Very, Very nice shirts. The material is heavy and soft. I experienced minimal shrinkage, the only place I noticed was losing 1/2 inch on the sleeves. That's OK because they where a little long to begin with. The quality of construction and feel of the material is great. The question will be will they shrink with repeated washings? I liked them so much I ordered two more.

I was hesitant to try these, but liked the blue heather color and that they're all cotton, plus the weather is getting colder and it's time for a long-sleeve t-shirt with a pocket - and the price was reasonable (the price is higher now). The cotton material is nicely soft and supple and feels great. The weight of the material is substantial - you won't be seeing through them; they definitely not flimsy. The sleeves don't have a wide elasticized cuff, like a lot of knit shirts do - these have narrow (about a centimetre) hems. It seemed odd at first, but it's great for rolling the sleeves up just above the wrist so they don't get soiled as easily. The fit is good and the material feels so great that I got several more in different colors. After washing in warm water on easy care and drying on medium heat, it still fits. Another big plus, if you have cats, is that it's possible to pick up cats, and the threads of the shirt don't get pulled or torn. Cats can even do some of the front paw-kneading without pulling or tearing threads. These shirts are like the nice cotton shirts of the good ol' days that felt like good, soft quality cotton and had some weight to them. If you bemoan shirts that "aren't what they used to be", these may be for you.

I'm 5'8 and I'm not obese. I'm between M and L in most shirts, and I got one long sleeve T recently where I got the best fit from a S. I bought this in a large, and after a few washings it's now too small for me to be comfortable wearing it. It's a nice looking and feeling shirt; the fabric is heavy and soft, like fleece. In fact, I just ordered one in XL, with the plan of throwing it in with the laundry a few times before wearing. It's a shame that they don't use preshrunk fabric for these.

Order a larger size than normal. It shrank quite a bit in the arms and torso length. Otherwise, it’s soft material and good quality stitching. For the price it’s a great value. I’m a 5’6” 165# woman. I bought the men’s XL for a sleep top. I’d have preferred if it hadn’t shrunk. But it still fits loose and comfortably. I wonder why the fabric can’t be pre-shrunk before makng the final product.

Great T shirts, bought for hubby for Xmas, washed and came out of the dryer great. Hubby says they are very comfortable and not to heavy or to light. Great value for the price.
