Clever - why have I only just bought this?!
So impressed with this presser foot. I was sceptical, but the photos show my very first attempt with the foot and it has turned out absolutely perfectly. I was worried the foot would only work with stiffer fabrics, but this is a relatively thin cotton chambray and it worked brilliantly. 5 stars for this little tool that will make binding SO much neater and easier from now on

Does not fit Husqvarna Opal 670
It was exactly what I wanted quite sturdy, BUT when I went to use it the foot attached well but the needle hole is not far enough back & the needle hits the foot, so disappointing

Seems to work. (No pun intended).
Fits my Necchi machine and feeds well.

Flimsy and loose but works OK enough if you're careful
I bought this because I sew with bias binding a lot and I wanted to speed up the process and also to more reliably catch down the binding on the back of my project. It sort of works for that, but I have to be very careful, go slowly, and constantly readjust the fabric. It's a case of you get what you pay for. There are two dials on this presser foot - one for adjusting the width of the bias tape and the other for moving the bias tape relative to the needle. I found that neither of them worked very well. The whole foot was quite loose when snapped on to my sewing machine, making adjustments to the foot very hit or miss. I had to move the bias tape right over relative to the needle and sew 3-4mm away from the edge of the bias, which I could probably have done by eye myself without the foot. The part of the foot that is supposed to guide the fabric and the tape is very flimsy brittle plastic and doesn't grip either of them well. The foot sits level on the table, but was so loose when attached to my machine that it leant off to the plastic side, and I had to compensate by holding the fabric and bias tape high up and feeding it into the foot as I sewed. If you're looking for a bias binding foot I would advise paying a little more for one that is more sturdy and durable.
