Masterbuilt MB20100513 Insulated Smoker Blanket, 32 inch, Black

This fits my electric smoker perfectly and feels well made. I’m happy with the purchase. We are excited to continue making some delicious meals even though it’s the dead of winter. I have a masterbuilt MB20071117 smoker.

Used my smoker in cold weather and no problem. This fits my Masterbuilt smoker like a glove. I’m very satisfied. Seems well built and able to last for years. I’ll update if this fails. But, have had a week of driving rain without a problem. Noticeable improvement in heat retention. Using less energy to get the same heat. Nice.

This is my first smoker and first smoker blanket, it fits the model well and came with three different panels for the top. The quality seems durable although it isnt weighted much. There was one round vent hoke on the side I dont need, but dont have a way to cover it up.I have only seasoned my smoker with the blanket on, and I monitored the temp every 45-60 minutes. Using the electric smoker, it will heat and cool to maintain the desired average temp. I was in 25 degree weather with no wind. The smoker maintained a temp from 196-212 operating at 200 desired temp. Not sure if that is good or bad?!?

Worked perfectly! You never know how the weather will shake out for Thanksgiving in Minnesota. Temps got to the low 20s and windy, but it stayed toasty in the smoker. Even with a little snow falling the temperature stayed consistent. Highly recommended! I smoked four turkey breasts, and the weather didn't seem to affect the smoking time.

The blanket was well made and seems very sturdy. However, I purchased the wrong size and was not able to return within the 30 days for a refund.

I purchased this for my new MES 430. Unfortunately the cover blocks both the top vents and the side chip loader. So much for “For use with all 30-inch” electric smokers.

If your Masterbuilt Smoker has the vents on the top of the box surface . . . sort of in the middle . . . and not by the controls . . . This cover will overlap a little bit It's not the end of the world, but it is not a custom fit . . . And this is the only cover that Masterbuilt offers Also.... You have to take of the handle that you use to move the smoker..... the 1/4" wire-bar one.... on the back side (top) . .. in order to get the cover on reasonably properly. Is it better that a welder's blanket - Yes. Did I expect better from the OEM - Yes Was I disappointed that I had to remove the handle and that it didnt exactly fit on the vent side - Yes. Does it work - Yes Is it worth it. . . ? I guess if you are going to smoke during cold weather. . .. you need one. . . might as well get this one IF there was one for $20 more and it fit properly and avoided these issues... I would spend the extra $20

This cover is for the 30" smoker ONLY! It fits perfectly. All the cut outs line up great.
