Is this PediFix Toe Straightener (Budin Splint) #8155? (Off my original packaging.)

I hope this helps: The first PediFix Toe Straightener (Budin Splint) that I ever used was from my podiatrist a year ago, and it came in soft clear plastic (like a Ziploc bag) packaging with the product information printed on the bag. It was labeled as #8155, "Toe Straightener (Budin Splint). The Budin splint I ordered from Amazon came in hard, clear plastic clam shell packaging; it is identified as Item #P55, "Toe Straightener" (no mention of the term "Budin Splint"). Both of them list PediFix as the manufacturer. Despite the differences in coding and names of products, the splints are identical. I'm wondering if perhaps PediFix, Inc. sells the same item to podiatrists with a different code number. At any rate, the bottom line is that mine from Amazon are the same as what I purchased at my podiatrist's office--except for MUCH less cost (about 1/2 the price).

I have a hunchback pinky toe, would this work to help straighten it out?

Only 1 way to find out. I think these are more for a middle toe though.

Would this work while my broken toe heals?

I'm not a doctor, but I wouldn't use this for a broken toe. Better to wrap two toes together, for small breaks.
