Personally, I am not a fan of any kitchen sponge. I think it's mainly because they're disposable, and I have found using a good kitchen dish cloth works just as well if not better than a sponge, and you can throw it in the washer. My husband, however, will not touch a dish unless he has a kitchen sponge. For years we had been using the scotch bright yellow ones. I'm talking we bought them in huge quantity from Sam's....but they would only last a week or so before we had to dispose of them (and the smell, ugh). These OCedar sponges are like a breath of fresh air. They clean dishes really well, they scrub pots and pans extremely well and they don't scratch either. They don’t smell, the scrubbing part does not disintegrate and they last a very long time before they need replaced, and mainly that's because I think geez I can't remember when we last replaced these, so I'll bring out a new one. These are really great value for the quality of the sponge and the length of time that they last. Plus they really just work well. I would purchase them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them!

When I first was looking for a new sponge and reading the reviews, all I thought was "it's a freaking sponge!" Now, after months of using them, I can honestly say WOW!. The reason I was looking around at sponges is because the cheap ones would start to stink within days. I have a sensitive olfactory system. The oder coming off of the sponges would overwhelm it. So I figured there had to be a better product out there. Well, I found it. Not only do they not stink after use, they last! The scrubbing side lasts and takes a beating. I will never buy another brand. It's a great "freaking sponge!"

It's like having sandpaper on your sponge...WITHOUT scratching. I use them on my Blue Diamond pans...cooking with water and never oils, the food will stick to the pan...run it under the faucet, scrape the pan with the rough side of the sponge and the food will come right off, run that part of the sponge under the faucet to get the food off the sponge (running water takes it off easily, another AMAZING feature), repeat. No scratching and yet it gets the food, even real stuck-on food, off the pan and you'd swear it'd scratch it, and it does not. I'll credit Blue Diamond in part for that, but this product gets credit for WORKING so darn well. Great product.

great with cold water! once hot, the sponge deteriorates very quickly. the first sponge we used only lasted 2 weeks. I am glad there are 6 of them in a pack!

I'm so delighted with these that I bought some for my whole family, and everyone's equally impressed by the durability. Lathers, scrubs, cleans, and holds its shape well; after 6 months, my kitchen sponge is only just starting to tear on the scrubbing side. Definitely a bang for the buck. I'm not easily moved to write reviews but here I am evangelizing a sponge.

Once again the adage “you get what you pay for” applies. It’s just better quality than the usual cheap multi-pack of sponges on sale at the supermarket. The scrubber side is thick and allows some hard work to be done then rinses out quickly looking almost new. The sponge itself is very absorbent. Also, it seems that it doesn’t smell as quickly or as badly as generic sponges.

These are very durable and do a good job cleaning.

These were rated #1 Dish Sponge in a longtime reputable publication and I 100% AGREE ! I've been using the 1st sponge from the package for well over a month and have not had to microwave it ! There is ZERO odor & nothing sticks to the scrubby side, not even scrambled egg ! LOL It is indeed a Unicorn in the sponge world.
