I've never had this drink before so thought I'd give it a try. It just has a mild taste that I can't pick anything out of. Sort of a mild sweet, cream fluff is all I got out of it. Maybe one day I'll be able to try the real thing.

Super sweet , minimal thickening effect
It is too sweet with minimal thickening. I used two packets (240 calories only coming from sugar in the packets) to get minimal thickness. Definitely there are better thickeners with better taste and hopefully less sugar out there. Yuck .......Also would like to mention all 24 packets didn't come in a nice box. They were basically thrown in the envelope without any other packaging

Don't think this is sahlep. It has a very weak flavor only
Very little sahlep flavor, rest is sugar with something.

Lacks the sticky intense salep flavor that I’m used to in Turkey. But a nice hot drink to enjoy every once in a while
