This thing is AMAZING! It's SO much faster than my usual method! This product is exactly what I was envisioning. Something that would easily melt the chocolate without risk of burning and allow the chocolate to stay the perfect liquid temperature to allow me to keep working as long as I need to.I've only used it once, but the process that would have normally taken me an hour to an hour and a half to complete took only half an hour at most! No more annoying process of taking it in and out of the microwave until melted. No more having to stop and start multiple times to put the chocolate back in the microwave because it's solidifying. No more messy chocolate because it's mixing with other ingredients because im fighting the solidifying chocolate into covering my avocado balls for too long, which gives the avocado too much time to fall apart.The tall and narrow shape, particularly with the holder with 2 wells, allows me to use less chocolate but still drop and dip my balls into it to fully encase in chocolate. The wall between the wells allowed me to have an easy place to scrape off excess chocolate against while the other well held the chocolate covered utensils i was using without needing to make another dish dirty. If I'm running low on melted chocolate, I imagine it would be easy to jump dump more chocolate chips into it and wait a bit for it to melt in.Melting a good amount of chocolate took about 10 minutes of standing and mixing, since I don't want to risk the chocolate burning by letting it melt on it own/ The 10 min have been longer than using the microwave, but with how easy and hassle-free it was, this machine is definitely more worth it. the silicone holders also make it easy to just let the remaining chocolate cool off in it then peel the solid block of chocolate out to reuse later. No more scraping excess chocolate into another container!I had decided that I was never gonna make anything involving dipping something in chocolate because my usual method was such a hassle and mess, but this machine makes it so easy and fast that I no longer need to worry about it! And it was a good price with such a cute design! The color is so pretty and I imagine it should last a long time as long as the heating element is good quality.

I ordered this item after reading several reviews and watching the home video. I must say this pot is a game changer in melting chocolate with ease. I typically make chocolate covered PB eggs which takes many hours from beginning to end as my recipe yields approx 80 some eggs. I just made a recipe which yielded 143 eggs and the reason why I went online and looked at melting pots. The ‘simplicity’ of this ‘BPA free’ device is what first grabbed my attention along with the ‘two heat settings’ and the ‘amount of chocolate it holds’ to melt. Upon receiving it, I first used chocolate chips which is something I won’t use because of the stabilizers preventing it from melting to the consistency that I desire. Still, the pot melted the chips with ease. This was merely a test. After purchasing more melting wafers, something I use only for our treats, I put this device to the real test. After preheating the pot for five mins as recommended, I added a heaping cup of wafers and in no time I had melted chocolate that was smooth n perfectly thin to coat strawberries. The clean up was painlessly quick and the strawberries are delicious. I can hardly wait to buy the ingredients to make my family & friends peanut butter/coconut eggs. I highly recommend this product whether it be for coating of quick n easy recipes or large quantities of candy.

I don’t know why I waited so long to buy one of these. Making chocolate bars is SO much easier with this! It melted my chocolate within minutes, and it was so easy to clean when done. I love that it comes with 2 silicone molds, so if you want to do white chocolate and milk chocolate at the same time you can. If you are going to make Candy more than once, it is WELL worth it. The cord has a storage area underneath so storing it is convenient!

I only gave 4 stars because for the price it seems like cheap plastic. I've only used it once and it works as described. I just hope it lasts.

Soo easy and mess free. Way better than making your own water bath with multiple pans. It is so much easier with this pot. And once you are done, super easy to clean. The silicone material washes right away. I definitely love it for making chocolate sweets. I use it for my hand made candy
