Mimi's Diva Dryer Microfiber Hair Turban, Pink

I love these turbans! Helps to dry my hair a bit quicker, but what I love the most is that they are lightweight & secure...I don't feel like I'm having to balance my head all the time like a do when wearing a regular towel. I know some other reviews complained that it was too small & too hard to put on, but I don't find it to be so. With the elastic banding I think that is plenty big - and I have a large-sized head and lots of hair. I've found that it's easy to put on if I: 1. flip my head & hair over upside down 2. put the button on the back side against the nape of my neck 3. get all my hair tucked inside 4. twist the whole thing, starting at the end of my hair 5. pull the twist back over my head & clip the elastic over the button.

I've been using this item for about 2 years now. It does speed up the dry time a little, but the reason I love it is that I don't have some giant towel on my head (that keeps toppling off) while I'm putting on makeup, getting dressed, etc. Also, this thing is great for vacation. You know how they only give you 3 towels when you go to a hotel? AND they are usually smaller than the ones you use at home? Well, I bring my turban with me and I don't have to have my husband call the front desk for more towels. It's also great for keeping your dry hair up and out of the tub when taking a bath.

It's a fun towel and better than a traditional bath towel that I've been using in the past. It's nice that it's not heavy and stays put on my head and really does decrease drying time. The microfiber helps keep hair from frizzing. The only problem is the first time I used it the button fell off. I have since resewn the button back on but I wish it was a better secure button and better loop to hook it with. All in all I think it'a a great product!

Maybe it's just me but I feel $12 is a bit much for one hair towel (I'd like to see 3 in a pack but who wouldn't?) Anyways, price point aside, I think this is a great find. One of my girlfriends was wearing this turban at the spa on the last cruise we went on and I really liked it - especially the button to hold it in place! I usually use a regular bath towel in the morning but it is really heavy and I think the pulling from all that weight is probably not so great for my hair either. This is very light, absorbs well (though no better then a bath towel, it's still impressive for being just a fraction of the size) and it is sorta cute :). I bought mine in pink and now that I know I like it, I'll probably buy at least 2 more. I do wish they had different colors or prints to choose from instead of just the white/pink. TIP: I read a few reviews where people struggled with getting the loop to reach the button. I too had the same problem but found that there is a trick to getting this turban to work (even with my big noggin). Before you start twisting the fabric, draw the length of the turban so that the elastic is somewhat 'taut'. Once fully extended, then twist and you should now find that you have just enough fabric length to attach the loop to the button in the back. I found that if you start twisting first (prior to lengthening the elasticized fabric) you simply won't have enough length or 'give' to reach that button in the back. Hope this helps!

I ordered this because I wanted something to wrap my met hair in that would stay in place. I've just used a bath towel in the past, but it didn't stay in place very well. My hair is about shoulder length, and it probably doesn't need the capacity of this turban. Ifind the turban useful because it has a button at the back and a loop a the front to allow you to secure the turban in place once you have wrapped your hair in it and twisted the turban. It takes a bit of practice to get it right, but it does provide a means of keeping wet hair in place while you are drying off.

Exactly what I needed. It took me a few tries to figure out how to actually put it on. It is a little confusing at first, but once I figured it out it was perfect. I have long thick hair and was afraid it would be too small, but it seems to fit all of it just fine. It stays on pretty well, and it doesn't dry it super thick but it definitely helps it dry faster than just letting my hair air dry. Great product overall, I really needed something like this and I love it.

Someone gave me this towel maybe fifteen years ago, and I never used it much until recently. I have long hair and a small head and it works great for me. Easy on the hair, light on the head, and yes it does pull more water out of the hair (not necessarily from twisting but a light patting down before I lightly twist it up on my head). No need to tightly twist to secure it. Yes, the button did fall off and I had to reattach it. But I can honestly say it is worth the hassle to redo the button. I take this towel wherever I travel...almost everywhere. Great in cold climates. It did take a few tries to figure out that you want to pull the largest end over the top of the head (easiest when leaning forward and letting hair hang in front of you)so that the button ends up at the back of your head. All in all...the most useful hair towel product for long hair I've ever found. I'm going to buy some for my neices.

I have and have used Turbie Twists and its ok, it doesn't really fit my hair though, its the "better than no towel" option. This Aquis turban wrap seems to work better and it stays in place pretty well. I have long (to my bra strap) hair right now, but I can tell it will still be ok as my hair gets longer. At first I wasn't sure, then I used it and it seems bigger than the TurbieTwist. I didn't measure them side by side, but I will stick with this brand from now on... years ago I had the Aquis hair drying towel when it was sold at The Body Shop, I used to wrap my hair in the microfiber towel then use a regular towel over it, since it was so small. This is a one step product because it is large enough.

Funciona muy bien, sin embargo es pequeño y el resorte queda muy apretado y lastima si tienes una cabeza grande.

Este turbante ahora lo usa mi hija de 5 años ya que el resorte es extremadamente apretado. Absorbe bien, el color es lindo.

Lovely and soft. Delivery took forever though.

Good for my super long, straight hair though it's a little small for my head. Also, it works best if you towel dry your hair quite well before putting the turban on, otherwise it gets too saturated with water and doesn't work as well.
