A favorite present for the holidays!! The board is sleek and clean. The pieces are smooth, magnetic....easy to play with and putting away is never a chore. The board folds into a case and conceals the pieces. We haven't lost a single piece yet! Great value for the price, wonderful design, and the color options are great. Easy to transport and if you drop it, the pieces don't pop open. I love it!!!

Good entry level piece
Contained all pieces and sized decent enough. Looks pretty good and magnets hold well enough that a 4 year old bumped into it and didn’t shift any pieces. Wood case is low to moderate quality and feels like it but for the price it is worth it.

All-in-One and Portable
I got this chess set because my girlfriend wanted to learn how to play, and having a physical board definitely makes it easier and more fun. The set includes checkers pieces as well, which is a nice bonus, and the magnetic board is really convenient. The magnets aren't too strong, but they keep the pieces in place so nothing slides around or falls over, which I appreciate. It also comes with extra queens, which is a thoughtful touch for longer games. The board feels smooth, packs up easily, and is great to take along when traveling.

Best set for the chess enthusiast
This is a great value! My son loves that the piece's magnetic pull is so strong he can tip the board upside down and they don't fall off. They are easy enough to take off at the same time. It is a beautiful board that is a great size and weight to carry around looking for the next opponent. It came with chess and checkers, all pieces were there.

Magnetic chess pieces make it easy to play. Checkers are not magnetic. Every piece fits inside case. Nice travel case.
