1MORE iBFree Wireless Bluetooth Earphone with Mic (Black)

Awesome sound quality, on par with the 1more piston fit wired earphones. Awesome for an entry-level headphone that is. Bass might seem inadequate but feels more accurate sound-reproduction-wise. Noise cancellation is excellent, cable noise non-existent. Connectivity is seamless. Range quite enough, upto 10 metres, even without line-of-sight. Battery life is easily more than enough for regular daily use. Seems a little overpriced, but then it does have ipx6 water resistant rating and the build quality is quite good.

My thoughts on 1More iBFree Sport Bluetooth Earphones Black Colour 2018 Model. 22Aug 2018 Good clear balanced sound. Sometimes you feel a need for more bass. Max volume should be 10% more for occasional high volume lisening. (my phones BT volume may be low, but I think its earphones). When earphones are properly placed in your ears with best fitting earbuds they will likely not fall off even during fast movements. But when you are not listening and they are just hanging around your neck it slowly slips to either side and may fall down, there should be a way to prevent this. Actual earphones feel very durable but the connecting cable is not braided, creating doubts on durability and also mice and rats would love to chew on the non-braided rubber coated cable. Power-On Tune is awful and Max Volume Indication Tune is bad. But Pairing Mode Alert, Battery Level Alert etc. are verbal and really good. Earphones are a bit too large and protrude a bit too much out of ears. Bluetooth connection is easily interrupted when some big bulky things come in between my mobile and earphones, my other BT headphones just work fine in same conditions. Its almost like there should be a clear line-of-sight to have these earphones play without hiccups. Thankyou. Hope it helped! Will update...

Some songs sound great (hip hop , edm ) but some songs have greater treble and these pump up the treble so much that ur ears will bleed ! Really bad ! MOST OF THE TIME I USE EQ bass booster, they sound good clear with good mid lows but bassheads stay away ! The hardware itself is gr8 but tuning is shitty ! If you use jio music you’ll have bad time setting eq ! Jio musics eq is hardly configrable and makes little change to the overall blue print ! Put everything to minus numbers and then you can make it better! LOOKS- looks are great, and fit is also good ! My advice if you don’t have a system wide equaliser skip these ! Oneplus has !! Btw

Sound quality is good. Battery is good, Noise cancellation is ok, But I got expericed slight pain in ear because of the bigger bud size, quit irritating for longer time. And mic quality is poor... Facing lot of discomfort. When send back to service centre (pune @with extra courier charges) they took one month to resolve problem and send me back old model one. (Worst experience)

I bought this headphones as i was looking for Bluetooth headphones in my budget of ₹3k and the reason for selecting this particular one was i had purchased 1More's piston fit probably 2 years ago and since then it has delivered me every rupee through their performance and i was expecting the same by this one and this ibfree sport are just perfect, better and undoubtedly having the best durability and sound quality. And moreover the ipx6 feature of them is just an added advantage.

The sound quality varies depending on the operating system you use because on android it uses sbc codec which is really bad at this price range but on windows and iPhone it uses aac codec which is like the best codec possible for Bluetooth earphones. While playing the same YouTube video from each of the operating system (android, iphone , windows) there was a significant drop in the quality for android. I tried force enabling aac codec in developer options but it reverts back to sbc. Talking about the quality of sound on aac codec Bass- you can't feel the bass, you can just hear it. I tried almost every song but the drivers aren't optimised for it. Mids- it's okish. Not so clear nor muffled. Treble - it has a good response but again the range is only till 15k hz so does not cover the higher end. Overall I was expecting a much better sound quality from 1more and not having support for aac or a aptX driver at this price is really disappointing.

Update post 3 Months Usage. I havent used them very extensively due to busy schedule. Still I managed to listen them on my regular travels. They still sounded great but unfortunately, the left earbud speaker failed to fire up today and only right one is working. This is so disappointing. I tried waking it up by resetting Bluetooth connection, power off etc but no avail. Searched out warranty option and found only one service centre in Pune!!! This came as a shocker. Potential buyers pls note, if anything goes bad, you'll have to travel to Pune to get the same repaired not once but Twice!! (assuming they won't handover the repaired set immediately). I wish I could return them and get a refund. If the seller is reading this review, pls get in touch and suggest if there is better solution? Nonetheless, these were one of the better sounding earphones I laid my hands on. But won't recommend if the service remains a downer. _______________________________________ I always thought Bluetooth headphones can never beat the wired ones. 1more has changed my perception totally with their sports Bluetooth range. Bass is very balanced, crisp vocals and a happy sounding output indeed. I bought primarily for gym but it gets tagged at home, airport and where not? Fitting is very snug, no complains here. Quality of material used is also one of the highlight. Battery life is very very good. FYI the company is funded by MI.

I have been using iBfree over a year now. And I must say it now. I have a bunch of 1more products and I find them all to carry a distinct sound stage. This is because they were all tuned very accurately and engineers at 1more knew pretty well what is that they want us to hear. iBfree normally being a bluetooth set feels like it has very low bass response , but it is not true. Many folks using bluetooth headsets do not understand what their devices are capable of producing. You hear what your device produce and send to your earphone. These earphone are such accurate in producing sound. Many of the users do not know iBfree in particular uses one of the largest drivers 1more ever produced. Yes 10mm that is. It is much larger than traditional 8/9 mm ones that usually jbl/sony uses in their standard earphones. Larger the driver size , better it is to produce crisp and tight bass. I am talking about only bass here because it is used as quality standard by general users. You must know, many phones including apple do not have inbuilt equalizing capability enabled when music is played wirelessly. Even to this day very few phones only support this feature. Alternatively one can buy full version of music apps like poweramp etc to use this feature. Once you have that adjust the bass to your liking and iBfree will drop your jaws to your balls. Believe me its true. But yes if you listen them with high bass preset your battery will say goodby within 2.5 hours of listening. Thats the reason manufacturers tune larger drivers towards mid-high zone for bluetooth devices. Peace !!
