This product is amazing. I have it outside in a waterproof box and plumbed into my front room via an existing air vent using an 8 foot hose. It very quickly warms up the space saving me having to heat the whole house. I am over the moon with this purchase and the excellent customer service I have received. I cannot recommend this product highly enough and my only regret is not buying this sooner. I raised a concern about the pump not being as quiet as I'd expected and a replacement pump was sent out immediately. 5 stars all round

Great project ideal for my boat

This diesel heater is advertised as one of the best out there however they don't tell you it will fail daily- numerous issues with glow plug heating and fuel issue yet using top quality diesel and a 240 input to avoid any issues with battery voltages etc in van I don't recommend buying this as I've emailed but had no further support or refund as requested

Good heater, plug n play easy

I love this machine, it operates well and is so easy to use. Operation can be as easy or sophisticated as you choose, it springs into life without hesitation.

Brilliant bit of kit

Dose not perform noticeably better than two other diesel heaters I own which cost less than half the price of this product. It has 10 heat settings, number1 giving out less heat than number1 on the 6 heat setting models, I assume that the pump Hz setting is a lower value which allows the 50 plus-hour run time on low to be made as it it uses less fuel but gives out less heat therefore it is not a true comparison, that and the 6 litre tank compared to 5 litre. Also using the supplied controller as reference it it gives out no more heat than my other heaters. Be aware that nowhere in the supplied manual or on the box does it say it is a 8kw heater only the Amazon listing says that. At the moment it is out of action as it is smelling of diesel in the room the air is being pumped into and I need to investigate why. In conclusion I think this product is more of a marketing exercise than possessing any meaningful improvements over other similar cheaper products.

I bought one of these heaters, added fuel after setup, and ran for 30 minutes to test. No problems, but two weeks later to use when I needed the unit to work, unit ran for 2 minutes and it failed to restart, and still won't start after several tries. I bought a second unit thinking I just might have bought a lemon, but it failed also after 30 minute. Link for product support on product page doesn't work at all. 2 pieces of crap.

It's a great unit! Easy to setup and it's fuel pump is really quiet compared to other units. The control panel, smartphone app, and handheld remote, are all easy to operate. The access door is very convenient. The blower is about 65 decibels on high speed. It's exactly what I was looking for.

I am revising this review up to a five-star now, I'll deal with a little bit more noise. This heater has turned out to be much better than the LF b r o s diesel heater I spoke about earlier. I am very pleased with the low consumption of fuel even at a higher setting compared to another brand. I'm actually very impressed. The other brand I spoke about I've been dealing with extreme diesel exhaust fumes and can't figure out where it's coming from or what's going, plus a diesel leak on the other brand, the Asurion protection subscription has definitely paid off and Amazon reimbursed me for the LF brand diesel heater. Only a 3 star rating for figuring out the instructions because, with all the fancy advertised extras, the instructions are terrible to figure out for setting up the time, the remote wireless, and the effort it takes to figure out what they are talking about. It doesn't match up! The fan is really loud. The hot exhaust port is on the same side of the hot air discharge, not a friendly setup at all. I have ran 20 gallons of diesel through it thus far. I haven't had any issues. Since I've had issues with the LF Bros diesel heater I decided to throw that one away and I decided to purchase a 2nd Halcory diesel heater.

I am updating this review: I felt necessary to remove a star though I did replace the unit assuming it is just a one off lemon. At this point I have run at least 40 gallons of fuel through this. I have had 3 EO11 error codes (high CO concentration) and the unit shut itself down. (that by itself is concerning but the unit safety guards worked, If I had asphyxiated I would definitely take off 2 stars). The bigger problem is: I checked the CO warning to see how many units of CO was detected, it did not register any CO. So I do not know if the gas was present or not but it turned off so alive but cold. Recently however, I was sleeping and woke to a toxic smell. I checked the unit (which had shut itself down again) and saw an error code of E063. I shut it down and restarted the unit. After a few hours of operation it happened again. The Troubleshooting guide indicated this as "1) Check if the impeller is stuck. 2) The gap between themagnet (sic) and the wind wheel and the Hall sensor on the controller is too large." I am not a mechanic but still comfortable doing small repairs. The fan is encased in the motor housing. I was able to reach in with a screw driver and the fan spun easily, it was not stuck. After some trial and error I was able to access the motor and found the motor casing is glued shut so I (you) are unable to access the fan. It is un-serviceable without risking cracking the housing. Very disappointed as I had expected an easy fix. I am not going to try to force a fix because the risk of asphyxiation is too great if I were to inadvertently cause some other fault. Just before I sat to update this review it shut down again with a E061 error code. E061 is "Motor open circuit" indicating a loose wire. I checked all wires and am trying again. I have read many reviews and not seen these problem before so am replacing it. I made a complaint to the seller through Amazon and am waiting for a response. I will update again at that time and when I have a chance to put some miles on the replacement. (Original Review) This is a very good product. It has worked flawlessly for the past couple months in 10 - 20 F degree weather. My furnace went down and this was the easier solution. My house is about 1200 sq' 300 or so for an upstairs. it keeps the whole place at about 54 deg. F. I rigged an exhaust heat capture radiator with a small fan and have zero heat waste. If I seal off the upstairs the temp rises to about 60 or 62 deg which is pretty good for 800 sq'. It has worked flawlessly. The app asks for no permissions and does not scrape any information or need any "Registration" at all. That alone deserves 5 Star. After constant use for the past 2 months the unit shut down twice for sensing excess CO2. (Oops, nope, 3 times (it shut down while writing this). Which is excellent because I did not asphyxiate. I do not know why this would happen as I have the exhaust system run outside with all joints sealed with muffler sealant. I would give it 5 star but I do not understand why they put the exhaust pointing out the same side as the hot air. It works for me as you can see in the picture but it seems the natural direction would be out the back.

I have a 16x11 workshop shed. Uninsulated, open ridge and side vents. I was worried about my tools getting destroyed due to humidity and frost. Using this heater at mid setting or "H5" will keep the temperature 20 degrees above the outside temperature. Using it on high "H10" keeps it at 30-35 degrees above the outside, depending on the windchill. Considering my situation and abusive conditions it far exceeds my expectations. It also drastically lowers the humidity levels. 57% outside and 32% inside. Recently ran it for 3 days in below freezing temps with the inside temp around 55. Yes this is chilly but considering the alternative, I'm over the moon. I made a lot modifications like removing the internal tank and installing a 15 gallon external tank. I removed the 90° exhaust elbow and mounted it straight out the bottom so I could position it in any direction. I also moved the display to the side for easier viewing. For $200 it's one of the best value purchases I have ever made. Also saves me and my tools from getting destroyed during the winter. The only negative for me is that you cannot control it via Wi-Fi, only Bluetooth. I can still set it to auto start on the thermostat and it will maintain that temperature. I have tried many different heating options in the past only to be disappointed by high electricity bills and underperformance issues. For the cost and excellent heating output you cannot beat this heater. I would definitely buy this again without thinking twice.
