Norpro Deluxe Stainless Steel Baster with Injector and Cleaning Brush 11" x 2" x 2"

I bought this over the usual plastic baster solely because it was the only one on Amazon that would arrive in time for when I needed it. I was under quarantine and couldn't get to the store, which is why I bought one on Amazon.This baster does its job well. The suction was really good, better than plastic basters I've used before. I was using this to remove the rendered fat from a goose, which can be messy business. As long as I didn't tilt it to the side, I didn't have to worry about more than a few drips as I transferred to a container. If I did tilt the baster to the side, the liquid poured out, but all basters do that.Cleanup was easy, just pop the bulb off and hose it out. Though I just threw mine in the dishwasher, the bulb on a spine in the top rack and the metal part on a spine in the bottom rack. I didn't need the brush this time around, but it will be helpful scrubbing out anything that gets stuck on. Because the tube is metal, it can get really hot depending on what you're doing with it. Just be careful to touch only the bulb and not do what I did, which was repeatedly grabbing the middle of it when I picked it up, despite having done the same thing before with painful results.The only thing I would change about this is a cap for the marinade injector. I have it attached to the baster in storage, but I'd rather store it separately since the whole assembly is too long to fit in my utensil drawer. Without a cap, it's a stabby danger to any fingers rooting around in the utensil drawer.

The baster is very nice quality and very easy to clean with all the awesome tools it comes with. Ditch the plastic and go with stainless! No more melting the tips ever again!!!

Amazing quality

I love this baster it works great!! The bulb isn't made out of a cheap plastic like most basters are, this one has a heavy duty bulb that fits snuggly to the body.I like that it has a stainless steel body and not some cheap plastic that cracks after the first use. Which I've had happen with the last 3 basters I've purchased.The included marinade injector tip really comes in handy!! Its nice that its threaded and screws into the body of the baster and doesn't simply slip over the tip like some do. The cleaning brush that comes with it is nice too.I would have given it 5 stars but I took off one point bc there were two issues with the cleaning brush.One the loop on the top of the cleaning brush is entirely too small! Its less than a ¼ of a inch in diameter. Which is too small to put a finger in to help with grip when cleaning.The second is the tip of the brush where the bristles at isn't covered so its just sharp edges that can cut into to the body or bulb of the baster when cleaning it. I just mixed up some two part epoxy and dipped the tip of it into it to give the brush a rubberized tip to prevent damage to the unit.But I'm still very happy with the performance of the product!!!

Every year I remember too late to look for a good baster and there are only plastic ones left. So I buy a new plastic (acrylic I guess) one every year Because they don’t last for more than one turkey as it’s boiling fat that is sucked into them. I finally remembered early enough this year and I’m so glad I found this one. It’s so sturdy and the bulb is easy to squeeze but hardy. It worked so well. It was so very nice not to worry about the possibility of it springing a leak and streaming boiling fat onto my hand. I don’t think I’ll need to buy a new one for many years. I have a few items from this company and am very happy with the quality and value of all of them!

Norpro Deluxe Stainless Steel Baster with Injector and Cleaning Brush 11" x 2" x 2" - Right out of the box I love the Baster. Tested with water and was happy with the suction power. The bulb is softer than I assumed it would be but it seals well onto the stainless steel tube end and the injector end connects easily. The cleaning brush works well. I expect many years of use with this product. I've used this several times now and am pleased with it. Holds a lot of drippings.

I had a plastic baster for years and got sick of it never working right and dripping out most of the juice, so I decided to spend a bit more and get this and I am SO happy. You can take off the needle top on it to so if you want a larger hole, you can use just that. All pieces come apart for good cleanup as well. This would also make a good housewarming gift for someone.
