The product was finicky a few of the times when I used it. Suddenly it would stop testinf different pins and be stuck at the first pins requiring having to reset. Not sure what's wrong.

Quality is good.
Quality is good. Tested with lan cable after receiving the product, it works fine enough to get the job done, only drawback is that it didn't come with 9v battery.

Good Product, does it's job
It'a good product and does it job. In my new home, I did the ethernet wires crimping myself. This device helped to check if all were ok. The only thing that I noticed was this device wasnt working fine when I put a 9volt Cheap battery (the HW one)i.e. the leds were poorly lit and it didnt even glow properly. However, it however worked perfectly with a 9 volt Duracell battery which itself is costly. Overall, good product.
