Certainly the best $60 I've spent in years. Seven stars.
I'm not an audio expert who knows a lot about IEMs, OK? Not many love their music more than I love mine, but I'm just a guy who needed to replace some old headphones, stumbled down this rabbit hole, bought this pair. But oh my goodness, these things are just amazing. The best sounding stereo system I ever heard was the Bose/Alpine system in my old 1988 BMW, which had the sweetest tweeters I've ever heard, gorgeous midrange, and a pair of subs in the trunk. Never heard music sound better or more balanced than when it was playimg on that system. I truly NEVER expected a pair of in-ear headphones to take a shot at the title. Don't be ridiculous. That's crazy talk. But I am telling you, all my oldest favorite songs ... I hear them for the first time all over again when I play them on these IEMs. The different layers of the music sound so astonishingly distinct from one another, so clear - even when played at low volume. And since when do in-ear headphones have great bass?! Who knew that was even an actual thing? I can hear Ellefson's bass technique beneath the wall of sound on Megadeth's amazing record "Rust in Peace," and Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" was so beautiful that actually made me cry. I spent 3 consecutive hours the other night just playing my favorite tunes in a stuffed chair - on my phone! - because I've never heard them that way before. So I'm not a professional musician or someone with 20 pair of headphones ... but if it's possible for music to sound better than it sounds on these KZ AS10 5BAs, I figure it simply can't be by much. Do you wish people would shut up while your favorite music is playing? Ever run your car battery down jamming tunes by yourself in your own driveway because your car stereo sounds so good? O ya? Then seems to me it should be just about impossible for you to ever regret buying a pair of these - even if you don't need new earphones. They sound that fantastic. They fit just fine in my ears, seem rugged. Are they supposed to cancel noise more than they do? No idea, don't care - I get to hear all my favorite music for the first time again, OK? I'm not just impressed; I'm flat-out floored. AND they have a mic so I can use them to take phone calls. Buy some. You're welcome.

Stop reading and just buy these...right now.
I honestly can't say enough great things about these buds. They have knocked it out of the park with these. Make sure you find the right tips though, they will dramatically change the sound you get from these, if you don't have a nice seal, they're going to sound weak (as is the case with any earbuds). The sound: For this price, you honestly can't beat the sound from these. I have the Bose QC 35 II's for travel and quality and they're good, but these honestly outclass my Bose in sound quality. They have a much fuller sound and have a great sound stage. The Bose will always be my go-to for creating a quiet space, but these will always be my go-to for anything else audio related. The bass is nice and present - it doesn't pound away at you like some 'bass-boosted' earbuds or headphones do, but the bass is definitely there. When you crank it up, it will get punchy for those who enjoy that, but you will be able to differentiate the bass/lows from the mids and highs in a truly unique way. For the casual audiophile or someone who is new to the space or looking for an upgrade, I like to call these the "hit it and quit it" earbuds because every instrument, note, sound effect etc. has a newly defined purpose. They hit and immediately back off. No more are the days of sounds bleeding together making it sound like one jumbled sound orgy in your ear. The mids are absolutely perfect. They're extremely well balanced and slot in beautifully to support the lows and the highs. The highs are right in that sweet spot of being distinguishable without ever reaching that point of shrill as you get in some other products. The notes ring true the higher and higher they go which is something you can't find everywhere. Comfort: These things are absolutely comfortable, both on and in-ear. I wear glasses and these sit nicely tucked behind my ear and I have never felt any sort of pain, unless I'm forcefully pulling on the cable for some reason, but that's my own fault, otherwise these are extremely comfortable. In-ear they're a blessing. Like I said, find the right tips. I use the medium size ones that come pre-installed and found that they work the best. But these don't have any sort of proprietary fitting to them, so if you love your custom tips, you can slap those on here too. Value for the money? Hell. Yes. I just compared these to a roughly $300 pair of headphones that are arguably the best in their class. While there are MUCH more expensive peripherals out there in both departments, for the general consumer who is willing to spend a good amount for quality, I can HIGHLY recommend these as the go-to earbuds over all else...and they don't even break the bank. If I dropped these out of my car and they were run over, I would immediately purchase another pair and not have to worry about budgeting for them. I can't recommend these enough. They are everything you've been looking for. Think back to all of the investments you've made in the past and how they've disappointed you...these will do no such thing. They're great for Hi-Fi audio, gaming, and podcasting/content creating, and overall casual listening.

Really good IEMs at a great price
I bought these to replace a set of Shure 215s that stopped working after about two years of hard use. The sound quality on these is at least as good as the 215's, I think it's better in the bass guitar frequency and vocalist frequencies, with maybe a touch less in the guitar area. I've not used custom molded IEMs yet, I liked the Shure's more than the Westones I have used, but I think these are better than both overall. The fit is decent. The seal is perfect regardless of how my mouth moves. The Shures had a good seal with my mouth closed but let sound in when I opened my mouth, these do not. They can technically take the Shure tips but doing so changes the sound a bit for the worse, the Shure tips fit inside the IEM whereas the tips that come with these fit outside the end of the IEM. The Shure tips are more comfortable, so I wish they had better compatibility. The quality of the cord isn't as good as the cord on the Shure or Westone IEMs I've used. It's a noticeably thinner gauge that feels like it's more breakable. It also doesn't have a slider to take out slack between the two strands. This is annoying. These don't come with a case, I have an aftermarket case already so this isn't a problem for me, but it is something to be aware of. I haven't used them on stage yet, but I've tested them extensively with a combination of Iron Maiden and Queen. Both sounded great. Bass was impressive for drivers this size. Overall, I think these are the best IEM's I've used so far, with some minor tweaks they would be excellent. 4.8 stars of 5.

These IEM’s are fantastic. I switched from SHURE in ears to these ones. The AS 10’s are also better for bass, my vocal range is bass baritone.

Arrived on time, packaging kept in good condition. I wanted as practice tool as my wonderful Bose over ears become very warm when used as bass guitar monitors. Sound is good, and responsive, once I’d got the rights size grommits for my ears attached which was a faff. Only one set of each ear size… the box they came with was only packaging and no use for continued use. Noise reduction seems to be good although not yet tried in noisy environment, these are passive so will be interested to see how effectively they work on planes which is the other use they will be put to. Still great sound for price point will further review after more use.
