Devil May Cry

Disk was a little dirty on the underside, but I just did an entire normal mode playthrough of the game and it worked start to finish with no problems. Came with the manual. And it's an awesome game!

Nostalgia

I got this game last week after reading several reviews on Amazon. I popped in the game, and I was instantly glued with the opening scene. I'm usually not a huge fan of action games, but this one is awesome. In the game, you play the character of Dante who is the son of a demon who saved the world from the devil 2,000 years ago. Dante is half-human, half-demon. He is met by a pretty girl who flies from the sky named Trish who gives him the task of defeating the devil once again as his father did. The game starts from there, and it is instantly cool. The graphics are great, the music is good, and the game play is fun and challenging. The enemies are not easy to beat. They come at you in groups that require moving and some speed along with slashing and shooting. That is one of the coolest things about Dante, he not only uses a huge sword (and gets an even cooler sword early in the game) he also has some guns to blast away his supernatural enemies. If you get an enemy alone or in a group of two, (you don't want to do this when there are other enemies around you) Dante can use his sword to toss the enemy in the air and shoot them as they come falling down. There are other abilities like the ability to change into a demon which recharges some life and adds new skills to Dante's repertoire. He can learn new skills and get items by trading in the red souls of demons he has killed which is another interesting addition to the game. I have thoroughly enjoyed this game so far and have found it pretty challenging in parts. I think this game is a must buy for any gamer!

Súper juego de mi infancia

This is not a review over the game mainly, others do that perfectly. Since I often want to know how people ordered I am giving that others as well. I've wanted Devil May Cry for a while since I played it at my friends. As a collector I stick to trying to find original versions of each game(black label) with the cover and manual. I usually prefer a game to be new but I know for fact more often I can get a game used that is just has good as new. SO I ordered from a "used" seller, which I recommend for everyone. You can often find a great $5 price in the used area. I found one for Devil May Cry for about $4 that stated "Original CD, Case Cover, and Manual Included" and ordered. It got here FAST 3 days before the estimated delivery. The game was no joke when it came to the condition it was as if someone had bought a new black label copy right off the shelf taken the plastic off and went "eh, nevermind." and returned it and that was the only reason it was "used" So when ordering try finding good deals in the used area instead of assuming "new is better" For the game itself, runs great. Haven't gotten to play much because I am always doing something. Saw great reviews for this game so just go look at those.

Ordered this because it claimed to be new (pictures say it is used) and tried booting it up but it did not load. Tried cleaning it with alcohol and a cloth but it did not work. There are minor scratches that are hard to see but still prevented it from working.
