I got one of these from work for the work phone and found it to be extremely durable and so I ordered one for my personal phone. The black color is the best for durability and grip. I got a red one for my personal phone and while it's durable, the red coating is a lot more slippery and it also doesn't hide scratches like the black. The black case is more like a semi hard rubber coating while the red is more like a satin sheen coating which is slippery and showed more wear. I had the black case for 2 years and it still looks good as new while the red shows some fading after 2 months. But as far as protection, they're the same. But in the future, I'll be getting the black one since you can drop it all you want and it'll never show as scratch unlike the red one.

Love this case. Got one with my work phone and really liked it so bought one for my personal phone as well. Fits really well and feels substantial, but is not too thick. Would definitely recommend Incipio cases overall. The quality is top notch.

I am impressed that after 9 months the red one still looks good. There are a few scratches on the back but from the front it still looks new! The feel is a little slick but the grip is actually better than another all black brand that was supposed to be rubberized. I am super careful with it though.
