Best light for $10, and is more functional that most at $50.
This light is amazing. And the diffuser topper adds so much functionality. It's so much better than rechargeable lights because you can just have a couple extra AAAs on you if it runs out. I have 50+ different lights from Rovyvon, Wuben, Coast, Olight, Energizer, Streamlight, Ace, & Nebo. Some of those are super bright and have neat features, but they can't compare to the simplicity and ease of use that this tiny, bright, and easy battery change that this has. The battery died and I just popped in a new AAA instead of having to wait for other flashlights to recharge. Fantastic!

GREAT customer service!!! Flashlight is pretty good...
I was in the market for a good keychain flashlight to use in the dark so I don't fumble through my keys. Up until now I had been using an Energizer branded light that worked ok but didn't like how I couldn't replace the battery easily. My first light lasted about a month but stopped working. Peter from customer service was really good and the company sent a replacement. I like the light overall. The twist to operate is good to ensure no accidental activation of the light while in your pocket. It's probably the smallest and thinnest light to fit on a key chain and not be too big. I like the knurling on the sides for grip. It's got a clever repeated twist operation to activate the next brightness setting. I like how you have three brightness settings. On the highest setting, it's very bright more than enough (almost too bright) for getting some simple light for your keys and door. And I think it remembers the last setting you used so you don't have to cycle through the brightness settings everytime you use it which is a nice convenience. It uses one AAA battery which is what I was looking for. I'm using a rechargeable battery with this. The body is a nice aluminum, not plastic. The black paint will start showing scratches immediately. So it's not anodize or anything like that. The package comes with some nice extras. There's a glow in the dark diffuser, extra O-rings, and a clip. I also noticed around the lens itself there is a glow in the dark ring which is cool but not sure how useful it is or what purpose does it serve. I don't know how waterproof it is and the question is really going to be about durability. The price is good. I think it was cheaper than the Energizer light I had before. Overall, great for what I need it for.

Great small quite versatile little. Extremely durable.
Love this little thing. I use it with the diffuser cap almost always. I’ll clip the pocket of a shirt or zipper for instant proximate lighting area. Can use wide variety of aaa battery sources. Lasts quite a while. Really like the bumpy body knurling. Lumitop makes some quality lights.

Great keychain flashlight until you lose the rubber piece
The part that I like the most is the little white cover. It’s a great way to contain the brightness without it being blinding. And it’s still very bright. And the little white cover glows neon green after being exposed to the light. It has three levels of brightness. It starts on high with the first twist, then medium then low. The only thing that I’m not too fond of is that you have to twist it to turn it on, and untwist (loosen) it to turn it off. In my case, my keychain is rough-housed inside of my purse. I think I will have problems with the top staying in tact since it is loosened while it’s in the off position. I also feel like it will turn on too easily inside my purse. I hope I don’t lose the top. Because it could untwist on it’s own. We’re forced to leave it in a compromised position. Other than that, I love it. Update: The rubber piece is not locked onto the flashlight. It can and will fall off. In my case, it’s lost forever. The company only sends 1 and no spares. So my favorite part of the flashlight no longer exists.

Best small flashlight that I have tried.
This flashlight is tiny! The dimensions are given, but still, when it arrived, I was gobsmacked! My requirements were to be: small enough for a keychain yet bright-ish, unlikely to turn on in my pocket, does not use a rechargeable battery, and has some kind of lens instead of a reflector. I hate reflectors; they produce an evil beam that does not have the same brightness across the field (so your criteria may differ.) This light has all of these features, and is actually smaller and lighter than an i3T-EOS, which I also have. The front twist switch has done a great job of keeping it turned off in my pocket. As a bonus, the finish is surprisingly durable; I have carried this thing for over a month, attached to my loaded keychain which churns around at the bottom of my pocket every single day. The finish is showing very light wear around the front and rear rims, with the rest of it looking great until I dropped it onto concrete yesterday, which ejected a small fleck off of it. I use it predominantly for walking around inside buildings at night. I like that the 1st twist comes on at full power, while a 2nd twist gives you low power; this is because low power is pretty dim for my usage. I do not know if the front is a true TIR lens, or is simply stippled; this is because the beam does not have as perfect a circle as I have seen on others, but it is still good enough for me. I have moved away from a competing light that is rated at 380 lumens, and has 2 buttons, one of which has a 2 second delay to avoid accidental activation in the pocket. Unfortunately, this countermeasure still allows it to turn on in my pocket frequently. However, THIS little flashlight has never (so far) turned on by itself, and the 120 lumens turns out to satisfy my actual needs. I am completely happy with this item, which is a thing that I rarely say.

Amazing little light... a personal 'always carry' must have
This flashlight is but mind blowing awesome... Everything is to like about this flashlight..... hang it from a belt loop .......and with the twist of a thumb and index finger you have light shinning on the ground before your feet at the intensity level you last used... ------ 3 intensities of light available..... just perfect..... ---- a very sure connection when twisted on... ( vs ...finicky threaded head / tail cap switch electrical connection others use ).... you get no light flickering whatsoever.. ..if you look into the head of the light you will see a gold connecting ring completely insulated from the head that mates to the polished surface on the barrel of the flashlight....this provides the ( - ) negative polarity to the head --- It won't draw power when off.. because .... when you twist the head to power off...you get a complete mechanical breaking of the circuit by the physical separation of these two surfaces.....you are in fact completely disconnecting the battery from the head which contains all the voltage regulating and memory circuitry ---- the last setting of the light will still be stored in memory when you turn off / replace battery ...etc .. because the memory used is non volatile ram / meaning.......doesn't require power to maintain settings #######....Following applies to earlier version only.... the newer have addressed the problem / solved it ....by a copper like plating / different type metal on the spring...####### ******* For anyone who may encounter a problem with the light no longer working... as some have remarked... I tracked the problem down with a volt meter... because after 6 months use.. it also happened to me... light is not busted... just needs cleaning pull out the spring with long tweezers or bent wire hook... get a piece of cloth ( wet with rubbing alcohol ) ..sized so you can twist and turn it down into the very bottom of the flashlight body to clean it... clean the spring also... then wipe the threaded part of the bodies shinny ring... that shinny ring contacts the gold contact ring in the head of the flashlight... twist and turn the cloth also into the head of the flashlight to clean the contact surfaces... after cleaning with alcohol... lightly coat all cleaned surfaces ... spring etc....with WD40 oil... ( keep clear of lens ) ... push spring back ...so tip points up...back into flashlight body... reassemble etc... the flashlight will now work and not require cleaning again.... the problem is caused by oxidation of the aluminum which forms a non conducting coating .... this flashlight has a voltage regulating circuit... and the coating causes low or no voltage....so it reacts by not shutting on to prevent damage / full discharge to rechargeable batteries... a regular flashlight would flicker... turn on intermittently ....if smacked against ones palm etc... I am going to try this... remove a thin strand of copper wire / or silver... from some multi strand wire.... wrap some turns about the bottom coil of the spring where when reinserted it should make a secure electrical connection to the barrel of the flashlight ... then run the rest of the wire up through the middle of the spring... and wrap some turns about the topmost spring coil where the battery will make contact with it... this way the wire will carry the current directly from the negative base of the battery to the barrel of the flashlight body ... should work.... / last solution... worked... pulled out the spring and put a slight bend outward at the end of the coil so that it digs securely into the barrel for a sound connection and at the same time increases the force of the rest of the coil against the barrel ... months now all good... I believe it's a permanent fix

Small but mighty
This is an absolutely fantastic keychain flashlight. I used to have one of those little cheapie ones that you would have to squeeze the button down and hold it, which was fine if you needed to see something that was right in front of your face. I wanted something with a little more Power, but wasn’t huge or overly heavy. This fits the bill perfectly. It is a no frills, lightweight yet very durable twist style keychain light. I find that it has a decent throw of several feet and is quite bright and will easily illuminate small areas. I primarily use this at night time when going to my car after work as apparently our job does not believe in replacing the lightbulbs in the lights in the parking lot. This is also come in handy for just every day jobs such as trying to locate items in my vehicle that inevitably become stuck between the seat in the center console. It takes a single AAA battery, which for me is fine as this is not one that I use for extended periods of time. I have several other flashlights that I use for those tasks where I need more light or need one that’s gonna last longer and in those cases, I use a rechargeable unit. I actually have two other flashlights from this brand in larger sizes that are also wonderful. if you just need a small pocket, friendly or keychain, friendly flashlight you can’t go wrong with this one. It’s lightweight, and throws a decent amount of light won’t break the bank. The interface is very simple as it’s just a simple twist.

There are better options out there.
I've had an olight I3E EOS keychain light for the past several years and I've been happy with it. I saw this lumintop EDC 01, The specs say 30 more lumens and it was only 10 bucks so I thought why not. When it arrived I was surprised at how much larger it was compared to my old olight. Build quality is nice. It seems solid. Nice threads. Fired it up and I was immediately disappointed. The light is 100% diffused so it is only useful for a few feet. The olight I3E EOS is more of a standard flashlight with the spot out front and a nice fill flood. It's useful for many distances. I'm disappointed with the lumintop. I mean it's fine, there's nothing wrong with it. The 120 lumens it provides does not seem as bright or useful as the olights 90 lumens. The white LED has a slight green shift which is rather unappealing. It has an odd shaped beam which is not terribly noticeable until you move the flashlight. The little rubber glow cap novelty is neat to clip on your pet at night or something similar to be seen from a distance. It doesn't fit terribly well and I can see it getting lost rather quickly. All in all I would not buy this again or recommend it due to lots of better options out there.
