I don’t recommend anyone do this, but I was exhausted after my shift and tossed my clothes into the washer along with the rest in my hamper. I did a ‘heavy soil’ ‘presoak’ wash with warm water and a warm water rinse. As I pulled the clothes out of the washer I saw that I washed the pedometer! I took it apart and left it on the counter for 3 days in the AZ dryness. Today I reassembled it and it works WOW WOW WOW I luv this little devise, way more accurate than anything on my wrist since I’m usually pushing something when I’m walking at work and my cells phone gets left on my desk almost all the time. I clip this on as I’m leaving in the morning and put the step count into my food tracker at days end It’s lightweight, not at all annoying and WOW LOL I guess it’s washable too - JUST KIDDING I recommend for healthcare workers, warehouse workers or people with a walker none of whom swing their arms with every step since we are usually pushing something.

I bought this because when I am on the treadmill my watch does not record all my steps unless I have it swinging down beside me. This one does. I wear it on my Jeans or work out pants under my shirt. It has flipped off twice while bending over but was still in tack. At work I walk around the office building and have checked the before and after on the times I have done it and the steps are within 100 steps of each other. Considering I don't always take exactly the same route I think this step counter is really good at recording your steps. We will see how long the plastic holds up for where I put it. So far I am happy with it.

So far so good but I think it skips a few steps here and there. Don't use it as much as I used to.. I have an step counter app on my cell phone and this clip on step counter and they never read the same.

Cardiac rehab wants me to exercise. Every week when I go in they ask me and I use this to track my steps. Yes I have a cell phone but this is easier because I wear it all day long. It’s lightweight and easy to use. It stays clipped and doesn’t fall off. One push of a button resets it to zero.
