How long is the main power cord to the wall?

Interesting question! The one I've had for two years has a heavier duty 4 1/2 foot power cord and the one purchased 6 months ago has a 3 1/2 power cord. It's a well designed multipurpose charging station and easy to assemble for a reasonable price!

How wide are the slots? I have kid proof cases on my kindles.

they should be fine, I have hard cases on two of mine and they fit fine..I'm not near it but i am almost sure the spacing is an inch wide or more, also they give you the slot separators, and you don't have to put all of them in, so if you needed more space for the width of the tablet & case then insert just two or three.....
