There are already enough positive comments on this product, and let me provide some inputs during the time I learned to manipulate this fine model. It may help those who are new to RC tank like myself to get more information. Long story short, I love this model, and would recommend this particular version to anyone who may be interested in getting a Henglong RC tank. Below are the issues I found so far: Issue 1: You won’t get a de-assemble manual to indicate how to separate the upper and lower section of the tank. Not too many YouTube videos show you how to do it, either. There are 10 screws holes at the bottom of the tank, eight for de-assemble, one for battery, and one for smoke generator box mounting. It is easy enough to figure out which one is which, the battery and the smoke generator are near the centerline, while the remaining de-assemble screws distributed along the wheels on both sides. Control board is very similar to the RC car radio link and ESC, except it’s integrated into one piece and has more I/Os for more moving parts. Issue 2: The 50 BMG machine gun assembly has the ammo feeding backwards if you follow the manual. You need to file the machine gun lower slot on the left side to allow the ammo box to be mounted on the left so the bullets can face forward instead of backward when feeding into the gun. Issue 3: Missing the standard rubber/plastic tracks. Well, this is an “upgraded version”, with the extra money you paid, you would assume the standard parts are included, unfortunately, you won’t be able to “downgrade” it. Issue 4: No gaskets on the battery cover and on/off switch cover. As a result, the demonstration to run the tank on rough territory is kind of joke, because the warranty won’t cover the damages caused by riding on grass, roughs, sand, etc. I ordered some silicone tapered plugs to fill the screw holes on the bottom of the tank, and ordered 1mm thick silicone rubber sheet to customize gaskets to cover possible leaking spot. Some upgrade thoughts: 1. Metal barrel. I don’t know for sure if the stock barrel is metal or not. It feels and sounds like metal but magnet didn’t respond to it, so I ordered one spared metal barrel with recoil function. 2. Metal track with rubber. Well, the complete metal track with rubber will cost $90+, so I ended with ordering 1/16” thick adhesive back rubber strips to customize the rubber pad for $15.99 before tax. Cut the rubber strips 1/2” in length, and 5/16” in width to apply to the metal track. 3. Clear coating. After I installed all the parts, decals, and applied some touch paint to the model, I applied Rust-Oleum matte clear top coating to the tank, and hopefully the tank can endure the outdoor environment when the coating is dried. 4. Upgrade to 2s Lipo battery. I bought a couple of Sunpadow 2S 7.4V 6000 mAh 70C soft shell batteries a couple of years ago for $17.99 each, and they fit perfectly inside of the battery compartment. However, I did made T connector to Tamiya converter to make it work.

This product is so cool and very impressive I love it so much it’s fun I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to play around or distract yourself but however going out to the owners and the manufacturer who made this make sure you go slow and carefully assembling this tank cause the gun wasn’t shooting it was miss placed or dislocated cause when I put everything together and finally tested it out the gun wasn’t shooting and I already put the small BB’s inside but I noticed the BB’s were actually falling inside the tank so lucky I found the issue the gun wasn’t place right in it’s spot so thank god I have experience with fixing RC toys so I opened it up and carefully adjusted the tanks gun back to its correct place and now it works and functions well but just letting you know if you don’t want people complaining or wanting a refund I would carefully assemble it together slowly so no mistakes are made against other customers thank you and really love the product it’s amazing keep making cool toys and tanks I really recommend buying from you again soon.

The tank over all is great. No issues at all with form or function however, if you don't check the charger output you could fry your battery. It's supposed to output 7.2v. Mine was putting out double that amount @ over 14v. Luckily I have a hobby class charger that I can use with it. So be very aware of this possibility and use a dvom to check it before using.

This thing is built well very detailed and fun to play around with.

Just got mine in today . It's awsome sounds are good metal tracks are good . It assembles pretty easy and works great very detailed and also a decent size . The only issue was applying the decals was pretty tough they wouldn't stick well and peel from the clear film I was in able to use all of them but I used enough to be happy with it I feel like the stickers were maybe old and caused them not to work to well . But to sum it up this tank is super fun and cool i recommend it also this retailer was very pleasant and helpful. This modle has the metal tracks wich doesn't have a hen long track repair kit the retailer sent a metal track repair kit along with it very much appreciated

Been having fun with it for over a week already, I'm pretty much living my childhood dream of owning such a pricey, but worth it, toy. Comes with everything needed to run, and I didn't have to get anything extra. Sounds and features are great, although I wish the BB gun was a little more powerful.

Some assembly required which was part of the fun in unboxing it. The metal tracks, drive/idler wheel are great. It did come with the 3800mah rechargeable battery and the AA batteries for the remote, a few bb's and the smoke liquid. I haven't put the decals on yet because I was to eager to go outside and mess with it. I definitely think it's worth the money. The details are great. The sound effects are realistic and change with the speed of every operation you're doing. I definitely recommend it for any adult. It's a lot of fun and I will be getting other tanks in the future. ***Upate*** The steel gearbox broke a gear and locked up. Looking to try and get a new replacement gearbox.

I just love this unit. Does all that is advertised. Well worth the money. I did have a problem with the smoke unit; appeared to have overheated with the heating coil burned out. (I BELIEVE THIS CONDITION WAS MY FAULT) as I unknowingly ran the smoker without adding the required smoke fluid. I contacted the seller DELTA-LT about my smoke unit, ,and to my surprise they quickly sent me a new smoke unit; plus they gifted me with camouflaging sheeting that you cover the tank with. DELT-LT found to be a very trusting and friendly seller. I love the Heng Long brand, best for quality, realism, and bang for your dollar! So happy with the Abrams that I will be ordering the German Tiger I from the seller DELTA-LT !!!

Le seul "b"mol c'est que une fois tout les garniture équipé, la trappe où se trouve le on/off est complètement caché sous la tourelle, il est donc impossible de demarré le MBT M1A2 Tank sans tourner la tourelle a la main, et je ne suis pas sûr que le mécanismes de rotation aime sa.. a tout future acheteur: GARDEZ LA TOURELLE TOURNER A GAUCHE A 90° pour éviter d'endommager le mécanisme de rotation de la tourelle une fois décoré!
