Dickies Mens Original 874® Work Pants

These original 874’s are the real deal. Stocked up during the sale and got them for my husband. He loves all the colors and the durability of these pants is incredible. He still has some from 14 years ago! But he wanted a few new ones- and they had more colors so I stocked up and surprised him when I told him how much they cost during the sale. These pants never wrinkle. I wash them hot and air dry- no wrinkling or shrinking. They look great. They’re sewn to perfection. The quality is there and has been for years, a reason my husband only wears these. Quality, value, durability, style, fit. Great for all seasons, they’re not too heavy or too light. Great functionality- pockets for everything . Great even in summer - they are very breathable. Perfect fit every time. Great for heavy road construction or just going for a hike. Highly recommend!

Usual I have pants that are too long or tight in the seat. These were made just right. The seat is roomy. Also, the inseam is true to fit. The pants are truly wash, dry, and go. No need to iron for they are the 874 sturdy and wrinkle resistant material for Dickies. They are classic find at a classic price.

Worn these my entire working life. Still very durable and nice looking. Length is true size. Waist is not. I’m a 30 waist 32 fits. Slightly snug.

I've been buying these Dickies 874 pants for years. To me the 874 pant is both a rugged work pant and one that can be worn in a casual setting. Its distinquishing characteristics are a heavy duty fabric, wide and numerous "tunnel" belt loops a brass zipper fly and a serious, crisp fabric finish which gives these pants a rugged look. When new, they can almost stand up on their own. The cotton/polyester blend fabric is heavy duty and can take abuse. Negatives? I wish the tunnel belt loops were bigger. They handle 1 1/4" wide belts but if you're wanting a 1 1/2' western belt you may struggle with a tight fit. As with many mens pants, inseams and waist sizes are even numbers so you may have to be flexible on fit. In my case a 40" waist is fine but I need a 29" inseam length so I buy the 40/30 and my wife hems the pant legs to 29". I would prefer a button waist closure instead of the “hook and eye” which can sometimes come loose as you cinch your belt tight. Overall, these are nice pants and the prices here on Amazon are very attractive so I can have a number of pairs in a few colors.

168cm, 60kg. This is the best pants purchase ever in my whole life. I never purchase new pants without any alteration. Very hard to find the right size and fit for my waist and length. Luckily able to grab 3 pairs during sale last week. - delivery faster than expected. - quality still remain the best among other pants i ever tried. - comfortable - best for bucks

The waist line on these pants runs extremely small, if you’re a bigger guy such as myself then size up; you may have to even size up two different sizes. I’m a 42/30 in regular jeans but with these I had to get a 48/30 to have them fit comfortably. They’re also not very flexible at all so keep that in mind if you have to use these for work, hence the reason why you want to size up cause they will rip on you if they fit you snug. Pockets also aren’t very deep at all so you won’t be able to store much on them. The downside of sizing up is the pants look really bulky, I’d recommend finding a good tailor to have them adjusted to how you like. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend these pants at all there are many better options with a lot better quality, the only reason I bought them was because my job requires this brand specifically. The shipper did a great job with packaging and shipping, it’s the pants themselves that are the issue.

Great pants however run INCREDIBLY small I had to size up twice I wear a 36 and had to order 3 times until I found a 40 waist fits me

My husband has worn dickies work pants and shirts for 50 years and is very happy with them. He still is. I gave this 4 stars because I ordered 3 pair, 2 came fine, the 3rd came used. The tags were removed, and they had been washed. No nice sharp crease. I paid for a new pair. I could have retuned them but since the order was for 3 I wasn’t sure I could send only one back. They have been washed again and fit so we kept them but it’s still upsetting to pay for new and get used. Shouldn’t they have been under the open package selection? Other wise the pants are as good as they have ever been and a nice dark navy color.
