Can I preorder the digital copy or can you choose the digital copy when it is released?

If you plan on going digital you should take advantage of Nintendo's e-Shop Game Voucher Program for Nintendo Online Members. You pay $100 for 2 vouchers and can redeem them anytime (for up to a whole year's time) for specific first and third party games on the voucher list (They can already be released or in Pre-Load status). The trick is to pick games that cost $60 at MSRP so that you save $10 with each voucher use and in total you will save $20 over buying it straight up from Amazon or directly on the e-Shop without the vouchers.

What is the difference between Pokémon shield and Pokémon sword?

Will you be able to transfer pokemon you have collected from older games to this new game?

Yes and no, only Pokemon found in the Galar Region which is roughly ~430 will be obtainable in Pokemon Sword & Shield. Thus when Pokemon Home releases, only those ~430 Pokemon will be able to be transferred.

Game Releases Nov 15th. Does 2 day shipping guaranteed it will be delivered that day?

I would assume they can't guarantee delivery, but all 3 times I've pre-ordered to receive games on the release date, they arrived on time.
