I bought this as a gift for a friend on bedrest, and it turned out to be a wonderful choice. I got to see her work on it and help on some new stitches, and it was just right for a beginner. The design (the flower set) was cute and cheerful, and the image was printed directly on the fabric, which made it easy to follow. I appreciated that everything needed was included — hoop, thread, needles, and a pretty thorough stitch guide. The thread quality was good too — strong, smooth, and not prone to tangling or breaking. It gave my friend a creative, productive activity to enjoy during a tough season, and it helped her learn some embroidery basics with confidence. A lovely little set, especially for someone just getting started. Great giftability as well!

It’s a nice starter kit BUT there’s no room for mistakes because they don’t provide enough thread for mistakes. As a beginner kit they should definitely include a bit more thread.

Loved the item and the pictures. One downside is it only came with 1 hoop. I went to do the second one of the three pictures and realized I only got 1 hoop but 3 pictures. So I guess I should have thought 2 additional hoops and didn’t realize it.
