Ladies, Throw Out Your Froo Froo Girly Razors, You Know They're Worthless Anyhow!
Schick, the best a (Wo)man can get! Way back when I was in High School, my mom would get me the girly razor brands. I remember cutting myself almost every time, because the blades were dull & it just wasn't constructed well. I'd have to go over and over the same area, and push down to get a clean, close (as much as possible anyhow) shave. However, as many of you know, once you get to college, no matter how many hours you work, you NEVER seem to have enough money. This led me to the Razor section at Meijer (a regional store like Wal-Mart, but they've been around here longer, their prices are better, and they treat their employees SO much better [my brother worked there]) looking at the refill cartridges for the women's razor was SO expensive, so I had 2 choices, a men's bundle-a razor with 4 extra cartridges, for almost HALF the cost of just a few women's cartridges, OR those lovely plastic disposables, that are akin to using a cheese grater on your legs! Thus began my relationship with Schick! Men's razors are made to be used on the most delicate & most visible place, his face, so they are constructed with more elasticity, (I'm not sure how to convey my next point, so I'll put it in terms that I hope will make sense:) where the razor head meets the cartridge, men's razors- and this Schick model is an EXCELLENT example- they've built it to be similar to the shock absorbers on your vehicle, the cartridge is able to move up & down, and tilt, so in addition to the wonderful moisturizing strip (Gillette's is good, but having tried MANY different styles, both Gillette AND Schick, I've found that THIS particular model has the best moisturizing strip & it lasts the longest,) the razor just glides across your skin like skis on fresh new snow! Every year I purchase one of these bundles, & it usually lasts the entire year. If you take care of your blades, they can last a long time! Don't store your razor IN the shower, that leads to rust, and not only will that decrease the life of the blade by making it dull, but you don't want to have to get a tetanus shot and stitches! Every few swipes, tap the side of the razor to try to shake loose any impacted hair, and when you're done, clean it out really good, (I find that a toothpick or q-tip work well,) for the same reason as above, if you leave those wet hairs all crammed in there, you're building a rust farm. I'm always happy with my bundle, but this year, with the sensitive skin & moisturizing components, this is the best razor I've ever had!

Amazing razors!
I was using the Sam's Club Members Mark razors for the past couple of years, but they discontinued them so I had to look for a new razor. Gillette was out of the question (if you know, you know). I did some research and found out that the Members Mark razors were identical to the Dorco Pace 6 Pro Sport razors which are available on Amazon. I was planning on getting them, but after reading reviews I decided to go with these Schick razors and I am very happy I did. I've used them about 5 times so far (I only shave my face twice a week) and these blades stay sharp. I think the most important thing when getting a close shave is prep and not shaving everyday. I highly recommend these Schick razors.

Very smooth shave, excellent price
Just picked these up to give them a try when I decided I wanted to try a different brand of razor. I've used fusion mach 3s and the earlier versions for years and even taught my two sons, now both successful adults, how to shave with that brand but recently, with encouragement from my wife of 31 years, I decided I would give these Schick razors a try. Turns out they're excellent. Maybe not as heavy duty as the Fusion handles, but a full range of motion and a very comfortable and close shave. Added bonus is they cost less then Mach 3s probably due to Schick spending less money on producing elaborate ads and commercials. All in all, I'm pretty happy with the switch and if you're looking for a good high quality shave with no extras, this is the way to go. Highly recommended.

Good, but not as close as Gillette Fusion 5
Been using my Gillette for years, but it broke, so I tried Schick. Been a couple weeks, razor still sharp (should be), but I need to repeatedly shave to get the same result I got with Gillette in one pass. The goo is also too dang thick, which also prevents a close shave, but thankfully Schick provides a way to flip the dispenser bar back. It is noticeably less irritating to my neck, which is a plus, so overall I'm satisfied.

Schick Beats Gillette!
And the winner is...Schick! The lubricating strip on the Schick is superior to that of the Gillette Pro Glide as it is wider and simply provides more lubrication. It makes my face feel really slick. Also, I think the Schick razors are set at a different angle than the Gillette cartridge because they glide more easily over my face. In fact, the Schick razor is so smooth that I initially thought the blades were not touching my skin and that I was only feeling the lubricating strip. Shaving with the Schick is much smoother and easier and the shave is just as close. In comparison, I experience a little more drama when using the Gillette. The Gillette lubricating strip works OK and the blue color fades away when the strip is worn away and ineffective (after about 5 shaves). You will want to replace the Gillette cartridge after 5 shaves because the lubricating strip deteriorates so fast that you notice each shave becoming progressively more rough. Shick Hydro replacement cartridges cost $27 for 12. Twelve Gillette Pro Glide blades cost $33. Schick wins!

Premium Razors are just the PRIMO!
I’d forgotten how much better premium razors are. No more amazon basic razzor for me. i hate to shave. these take me half the time and last much longer.

Me encantan estos rastrillos

First few batches I got seemed sharper and definitely lasted longer. These have a close shave but not as close as they used too. Not sure if they changed something. Still good value for the money. Better than giving a dime to Gillette. I’ll shave with a Buck Knife before I give that company a dime ever again.

Faço a barba diariamente, mas as lâminas são muito ruins. É melhor fazer a barba com uma gilete comum. Também vieram mal embaladas.
