Very good door hanger, fits over door well and the sticky pads do prevent it from banging. I use it on bathroom door for towels, dressing gown etc and it’s plenty strong enough. Well made and sturdy and its finish looks good too.Would buy again.

Very effective in use - but check there is a gap over your door to frame before buying.Marked down to 4 stars because it is a real fiddle to assemble, 2 tiny screws probably 4-5mm need to fit in threaded holes which are messed up by too much thick white paint. Because of this the manufacturer supplies a tiny cross-head screwdriver with 4 screws when you should only need 2! The manufacturer needs to re-think this problem either by modifying the manufacturing process or by dispatching the item full assembled. They must be getting a lot of 'returns'.

It is functional but has one or two issues that prevent me from giving it a better rating.The parts at the bottom that contact the door are also where two screws are used to fix the hooks to the two arms that grip the top of the door. This means if you want to use the pads provided to reduce damage and noise (which is immediately apparent) from the back of the frame knocking the door, you have to put them over the screws. This becomes a problem if you then want to unscrew the arms to adjust their angle because there is no built-in way to ensure the ideal angle when putting the screws in; meaning you will probably end up with the arms at slightly different angles. I recommend spending a few more seconds to ensure the arms are screwed in at the best angle you can possible achieve before applying the protective pads.Also if you apply the double-sided tape to fix the item to the side of the door to keep it in place and not knock the door, if your door frame has a small section behind the very top of the door like mine, and you door is not the exact depth of the upper section of the arms, the arms will stick out past the other side of the door and be pushed back in by the door frame. For me this detached the tape from the item. I ended up disposing of the tape.These aren't massive problems but to my mind could have been avoided in the design and manufacture process.
