I love this thing & finally, after a couple of years of filling & emptying 6 mini-trays twice a day (I know, huh--I'm now renting & the fridge doesn't have an icemaker), splurged & got this for myself. I'm a lifetime ice cruncher & this machine was way cheaper than the ones I saw at a couple of big-box stores but works really well for me. The ice is softer but still crunchy so I don't worry about my teeth as much. It's fast & easy to keep clean. I don't have to worry about running out (yes, I actually worry) & having to get bags of ice from the market. A little noisier than I was expecting but not terrible. I'm glad I got it.

Greate ice maker. It makes small little ice chips. Which works fine. It isn't to loud. Makes ice fairly fast. After made I put it in the ice bin in the freezer.

I love my ice machine. It’s exactly what I need. It’s not as small as sonic ice but it’s great. I bought one for my grand daughter too!

Does not make overflowing ice like in the picture. As soon as the ice backs up out of the chute, it will stop. If you don't remove the ice it will stop and melt back into the tank. It does make ice, but I doubt it's 40 lbs a day.

We use bottled water and we have to clean the machine a lot. We haven't had it a full year and it broken. Not impressed.

I don't want to say I was going into this purchase with hesitation, but my expectations weren't exactly stellar, I admit. Maybe that was a good thing because it has surpassed my expectations. So far, (I've only had it a week almost two weeks,) but it's worked perfectly. I wish the little ice bucket had more room for ice, but it does the job quite nicely. Can barely hear it at all, I have to lean in to hear it working. The value for money aspect, I don't know. I mean, truthfully, I bought it because my mother likes to chew on ice, and this makes the small nuggets, as opposed to the cubes, so they're softer and better for chewing. The ice is the perfect size, like the ice from Sonic or at big gas stations. So if you're looking for an ice maker that makes the crushed ice nuggets as opposed to cubes, then this one'll do the trick for you.

Good looking, great quality, makes great small chewable cube chips, perfect for beverages or cocktails. I start it in the morning, and within 30 minutes, I have a fair amount of ice to start my day. I add water and let it continue if I need more ice. Customer service was great when I emailed to find out how to keep it clean and bacteria-free. They responded immediately, explaining the process, which is easy enough
