I always use Acini di Pepe when making Lentils or beef vegetable soup and I'm sure there are other dishes they would work well with. In fact, De Cecco brand pastas are my go-to pasta for all varieties. De Cecco pastas are all 'slow-dried'....which if you know or not, makes for a much better tasting pasta. ALSO...Slow dried pasta is easier to digest; normally,most people who feel bloated after eating mass produced, 'quick dried' pasta will really notice the difference when eating slow dried pasta. PLUS...slow dried pasta cooks a little bit faster and more evenly. But don't take my word for it, do a taste test....you'll notice a difference in flavor right away.

Thought I'd try this particular shape pasta. Love it. I am a HUGE fan of DeCecco brand pasta. If you know pasta, you'll understand why. Whether it's my fave, Bucatini, or linguini, regular spaghetti, orriachette, short pasta, long pasta, medium pasta, Dececco is the best you can find commercially. NEVER buy Barilla. It's the worst. Yes, there are definitely differences in the quality, texture, and taste of pasta. Don't buy anything else!!!

If you can find them in a store they’re cheaper but sometimes hard to find

We have used this product for over 50 years. Some grocery stores locally carried it but the only place I have found it in the past few years is on Amazon. It is the best in chicken soup

I used this pasta in homemade chicken BB soup. My sister-in-law's family made this soup and it's delicious. This pasta cooks up perfectly and tastes delicious.

I just made pastina with this and it was exceptional. The boxes are kind of small for the price but the pasta is delicious.

These tiny pasta balls take much longer to cook than the directions indicate; but once cooked, they're great for making Italian wedding soup...be patient!
