I’m really enjoying this matcha powder!I primarily use matcha to make lattes so please take this into consideration when reading my review. I know adding milk and consuming chilled could change the flavor profile. I used the recipe included in the product photos which is pretty standard. I do consider it important to follow a recipe as a little goes a long way with matcha.When you whisk the organic matcha powder with the hot water (I use 185 degrees) it will have an earthy/ grassy aroma. That is completely normal. I added the matcha to a glass of almond milk, ice, honey and strawberry boba balls. This was delicious! I consider this to be a good quality matcha because it was not grainy and remained a nice bright green color. I am no matcha expert, just someone who enjoys a nice matcha latte and find it to be expensive at the cafes. This powder is a very cost effective way to enjoy a matcha whenever you like. I store mine in the fridge. It has a seal inside the container that helps to keep air out and maintain your matcha’s freshness if stored properly.

This matcha powder has great color and taste, and seems to be high quality with a good boost of energy. Price is a little high for a small container size, but I save it for special occasions.

I'm a big fan of matcha. This organic matcha powder is incredibly fine, which gives it a super smooth texture. The flavor is fantastic, it's aromatic and a little sweet, not too bitter like some other cheaper brands. I love using it for lattes. My go-to recipe is 1/2 tsp of matcha, 2 tsp of sugar, and 8-12 fl oz of milk. If I'm making an iced latte, I just mix the matcha and sugar with a splash of hot milk first to get rid of any clumps, then add cold milk. I never add ice, because it dilutes the matcha latte.The best part about matcha is how versatile it is. I've used it in everything from muffins and cookies to ice cream and whipped cream, matcha salt for tempura and it always adds a great flavor and color.This organic matcha might be a little pricey for baking, but the quality is definitely worth it. It's one of the best matcha I've tried, and I highly recommend it.

After drinking this everyday for a week i’d say It’s just okay. I like my matchas in latte form & this one is definitely more of a light, smooth/creamy flavor with a hint of a vegetative taste and natural sweetness. I also don’t find it to be bitter or astringent at all. However, the color isn’t quite what i’d like it to be (I used 3g with oat milk) and the flavor is barely there and I’d hate to have to use more than I already do because then I would just run out of this matcha in a week or 2 as I make a matcha latte almost every day. I like a bold matcha with a lot of flavor, and this one just lacks it for me. It’s very weak in flavor in my opinion.

This first harvest matcha from HAYASHITA is super bright green, super smooth, and has a very grassy aromatic scent to it. The flavour is mellow and bright and I found it pleasant to drink by itself. 1.4 ounces will go by fast so I think this is meant for enjoyment as a weekend thing instead of daily due to the high cost.This particular matcha is Japanese made which is known to make good non-bitter harvest matcha. I like how this wasn't bitter and had a bright green colour so I think it is very high quality. :) This blended well and was very easy to whisk.

To start off, the aroma of this matcha powder is incredibly fresh and satisfying. It gives off a clean, grassy scent that is unique to matcha. The color of the powder is a vibrant, deep green. I use this powder to make matcha lattes, and the resulting quality and taste of the drink has been fantastic. At the time of this writing, the price of this matcha powder is 24.99, but with the matcha shortage that is currently going on, this is a fair price to pay.

Very pleased with this Tea. I am somewhat picky about my Matcha, and this is about as good as I have found anywhere and definitely imported. It appears to be pure Matcha, not mixed with other teas. There is what looks like an organic certification on the sealed foil bag that kept it fresh and dry. After opening, the foil bag can be folded down and returned to the can, which has a plastic seal to ensure it stays dry and fresh. It is a very finely ground powder, and mixes well with water or in steamed milk. The only negative is it is not quite as aromatic has some other I have tried. It is a solid buy.
