I also enjoyed the review of the regular season and the game-by-game recap of the Stanley Cup playoffs. What I was really pleased with was the fact that a scene was even shown of the team mascot, SLAPSHOT(one of my top 5 favorite NHL mascots). I also enjoyed the special features. Great summary of the Championship, and the franchise. Also, kid friendly!
Exactly what I wanted! A little team history, the ugly parts of the season, the team coming together and a game by game summary for the playoffs. It felt really good watching it again, and I will definitely watch this over and over. Also, it's kid friendly...no bad language, just like something they'd show on regular tv.

LETS GO CAPS!!!!!!
Greatest movie ever!!!! If you are a Capitals fan, and you have endured (you would know what I mean), then this movie is a must have! I literally have watched this 30 times, and will continue to watch it. It was one of the greatest days in my life (top 3) and this is a great memento to have to remember that amazing run for the cup.

the caps finally won the stanley cup and we can go inside the locker room and re live everything in this blu ray ! Is that oveckin spitting on the ice ! Did the caps players play techno when they were not on the ice ? I'm not telling you need to buy the blu ray numb nuts to find out! NOTE THESE ARE NOT GAMES IN ANYWAY AND YOU WILL IN NO WAY RECIEVE A FULL LENGTH FEATURE GAME 6 or 7 IN HD WHATEVER

It's good, but it doesn't capture the feel of the Caps winning the Cup
This was good, but not really as triumphant and with that oomph! feeling, I guess, as I would have liked. This was such a huge moment for Washington Capitals fans and this DVD/Blu-Ray didn't really capture that feeling. It just felt like a perfunctory championship video. Finally beating the Penguins didn't come across as the huge MOMENT that it was for the fanbase. On a technical level, there are no subtitles, and being as this is home video, I'm not sure why the curse words were bleeped out. I found that unnecessary. Also, every bit of bonus footage (except for the extra rounds stuff) could have been featured in the main video. More interviews overall with the players, and more of the feeling that this FINALLY happened would have been nice. Still, I liked it and I'm glad I got it.

Must have for CAPS fans!
Love this DVD! Does a great job of going through the season, each round, the finals and winning the Stanley cup. Very well done! A must have for any CAPS fan! WE GOT STANLEY!!!!

GREAT DVD
We love the new DVD, but I wish there was more. I would like to see every game and the Locker Room, Coaches and all that were too little. 4 or 5 minutes is NOT expanded video. Boo Hiss, but we love the video anyhow.

As a Capitals fan for over 10 years this Film delivers as I hoped would one day happen. The Washington Capitals have Exorcised the Demons of the Penguins and defied the odds all the way to the Stanley Cup Final only to dismantle the team that went on to become an absolute powerhouse in the Western Conference. Good Interviews, Key moments. I love the documentary style approach and narration. I personally would have liked to see a little more but it was a job well done with what we get. This Film is a must have for devoted Capitals Fans.

A must have for any Caps fan. It could of had more content from the past playoffs heartbreaks and for this playoff game to game coverage but still a well made recap of their road to the cup, yes lord stanley’s cup. Comes with both a dvd and blu ray copy. At time of purchase it was the cheapest place to buy, and Im glad I did!
