When buying these I was slightly apprehensive as they were so cheap. But I'm glad to say I was wrong. I'm using these outdoors and indoors and they work perfectly.Background. I needed these to connect some wires to my satellite dish for my Sky+ HD box and also to connect into my Sky HD box. I've also never done this before so relied on YouTube videos. Just make sure these are the right type for you and the right size. Some research will save you. These are perfect to use to plug into a satellite dish and into the back of your satellite box. (I do not know if these will work for sky q but they still for sky+ HD!!)All you do is expose your wire. Use some of the stringy metal bit and film to screw these onto the wire. It's not perfectly tight but it's tight enough. Use YouTube!They have stood up the test of time with my satellite dish outside which is exposed to a lot of rain and cold and wind. No rust. No drop of signal. And still securely attached.Pros: - cheap- very weather-proof. No rust at all- no loss in signal quality- easy to use and well built from what I can seeCons - they literally just come in a bag with no instructions.I'd recommend these. 10/10. Very surprised if I'm honest.

Good price and good product for making cables for freesat around the house. Good solution to getting rid of paying for subscription satellite service.

I had to shorten the virgin media cable in the other room but, I didn't have the tool or compression fittings the use.I did a search on Amazon and found these by a company called SSL Limited. These little connectors are fantastic. They only need to be screwed on to the cable and within two minutes I had a working cable connection in the other room.All you need Todo is cut the cable to required length, the cut back the external protective layer approx 20mm exposing the internal shielded copper wire, Trim the internal shielding by 5mm exposing the copper wire, then thread on the F plug connector. Done. Sit back relax and watch TV.Look on YouTube there's load of videos on how to do and I am sure you will find one the helps you.Cheers Joe
