Meaco MeacoFan 1056 Air Circulator - Powerful, Energy Efficient, Low Energy, Quiet cooling desk fan for bedroom, home and office, Oscillating, Remote Controlled

I had the pleasure of using this fan when staying with family a few weeks ago during one of the few heatwaves we had this summer This fan is the most quietest and coolest fan I have ever used. I have been using it on setting numbers 1 to 2 and they are perfectly cool enough for me. I am still using it now on setting 1 even if summer has almost gone. Admittedly I probably wouldn't have spent that much but if you want a very quiet fan and a comfortable night's sleep, then its an investment which I'm hoping to get many years of use from it. You can get it cheaper without the stand. It comes with its own remote which sits via a magnet on the front of the fan. Easy to find. Can't say I haven't tried the other settings on the remote but in time I probably will. I got the one with a stand and it stands at the bottom of the bed cooling the whole room. And not forgetting that it oscillates up and down ad well as side to side. It also comes with its own handle so you move it from room to room easily.

I was looking for a decent fan. I wasn't interested in the bladeless as I never really rated them that much but in the same thought did not want a cheap rickety one that would keep me awake at night. I surprised myself by spending this amount of money on a fan but it did have one of the highest ratings and best descriptions on Amazon. Design is small and compact. Aesthetically it reminded me of a small version of women's hair dryers that they used to put over their head in hairdressers. Almost helmet shaped. It comes with a remote which magnetically attaches to front of fan when your not using it. You can use the remote or the fan itself to control it and the controls are straightforward. It looks good, not like a traditional fan. I bought it when it was 23 degrees on a night but when it arrived the temperature droped to a much more pleasant of 18 or 19 degrees. Because of this I have only had it on level 1 which is as powerful as other fans I have had. It has many levels above this which are much stronger, but even 1 provides a draft to the other side of the room although not overpowering at close distance. Comfortable. What makes this one special however is that not only does it swing left to right, it also moves up and down. And that means it cools the whole room, not just the area it's pointing. It is also very quiet, and whilst you can here a quiet hum in the dead of night, it is barely noticable, even on higher levels. Fantastic value for nonry

After seeing a friend's fan, and being impressed with just how quiet it actually is, I knew I had to have one to replace my regular noisy fan. It is well built (one caveat - see below), very powerful (the lowest setting has plenty of airflow and virtually silent), and while rounder, it doesn't take up any more space than my old desktop fan. I've now owned it for a year and a bit (purchased Dec 2023 - basically used it for an entire summer without a problem). However, after bringing it out and dusting it off for this years warmer weather, the bearing or something was making a rubbing noise, which while it didn't affect functionality, the noise did become annoying, especially as it isn't cheap for a fan. Not louder than my old regular one, but it did cost 5x more. After a briefly troubled back and fourth via customer services (not all their fault, Amazon support chat doesn't allow links, and attachments have size limits) and supplying them with a short video of the problem, they shipped out a replacement which arrived the next day. A+ for customer service. Silence has returned. I love my Meaco! I wasn't asked or paid for this review, just felt it deserved it.

Simply the best fan I have owned. Extremely quiet and many different speeds so easy to optimise the required output. The remote control is great and I like how is it stored in the centre of the fan. It’s compact and stylish, we barely notice it in the room. Why buy a Dyson at 3 times this price when you can have this beauty. No negatives.

Fantastic fan as it’s exceptionally quiet and powerful and looks stylish. Only gripes are the remote is difficult to use intuitively and has to be pointed directly at the unit to work which is difficult because of the round shape. It’s a shame it doesn’t have a display built in so you can see the current settings without walking upto the fan. Also the beeps made when changing settings are very loud when used in a quiet bedroom and can’t be adjusted. Also it’s a shame the display on the unit doesn’t dim. I still love the fan and makes a huge difference on a hot night. I would definitely buy again.

This fan is a game-changer. It’s quiet enough to sleep through, even on higher settings, but still moves a serious amount of air. The oscillation is super smooth, and the remote makes life easy. Bonus points for the eco mode and sleek design—it actually looks good in a room. It’s maybe a bit on the large size for some people due to it being needing quite a deep spot to fit it. Uses very little energy, so can keep it on all the time without worrying about shooting up your electricity bill (less than 1p / hour) Not the cheapest fan out there, but totally worth it for the performance and peace. Perfect for hot nights or stuffy home offices, and after having it for over 3 years now it’s remained sturdy and without issue.

If you have been researching lots Of fans and don’t know which one to get-get this one! It genuinely makes the room feel cooler and if you point it in your direction you will instantly feel relief on a hot day. It has a great remote that attaches magnetically to the middle of the fan so you don’t lose it. It oscillates or can be set to stay stationary. Usually I have it set around speed 5 and pointing at me. It is very quiet. Some fans sound like a hurricane but not this one. For cost (more than the cheapest fans, but a couple of hundred less than some well known names) it’s reasonable given it is an excellent product. I got the 1056 which is a standing fan ( although can be lifted to different rooms). I’m now going to get a desk fan too as they are so good. This one lives in the living room now even though the heat wave is gone as it feels very refreshing. You won’t regret getting a meaco 1056. I generally have very little interest in household products but wanted to leave a review for others.

The MeacoFan Sefte® Table Fan has been an excellent addition to my home. It’s incredibly quiet, even on higher settings, which makes it perfect for work, sleep, or relaxing without any background noise. The airflow is smooth and effective, and the eco mode that adjusts to the room temperature is a smart and energy-saving feature. The design is sleek and modern, and it fits perfectly on a desk or bedside table. My only minor gripe is the remote – it feels a bit flimsy, and the glow-in-the-dark buttons don’t really work. LED backlit buttons would have been a better choice for nighttime use. Overall, I’m really happy with this fan and hope it lasts a good few years without developing any of the clicking or noise issues that can affect other fans over time. So far, it’s been excellent — highly recommended!
