It only costs $1 for a pack in NY Chinatown. Besides, it is not made in Hong Kong but inChina which always has food safety problem.

Essential in some Chinese cooking
Hard to go on about something as simple as rock or slab sugar. Came packaged nicely, does a great job in recipes leaving a nice sheen to certain dishes. Will buy again when I run out!
