Whilst these are undoubtedly 'big pants'; the high waist and good bottom coverage are just enough to give supreme comfort and secure fitting, no riding up, crack migration, or roll down at waist, but not too much fabric so that you feel like you are pulling them up to your arm pits! Big shout out of joy for a generous sized comfortable gusset. On sizing, I am a UK 12 (more like an UK11 is there was such a size!), so the chart shows at M for Medium, which is what I purchased. They absolutely fit fine, and I will wear them, but I feel that one size larger will give a more relaxed fit, so I have gone ahead and ordered another set in a L, for those days when I am hanging out at home in a sloppy tracksuit, and wish my pants to be a bit more sloppy too! I got this set for after I had my baby. Size 10 fit really well and tucked everything in. Since I’ve lost the initial belly fat, I’ve ordered a set of 4 in size 8.
