Are the pillows attached to the sleeping bag?

No. There is no cell phone pocket as advertised and the bag is very low quality. I received it noticed that there was no cell phone pocket, so I returned it asking for a replacement. They sent me out the same low-quality sleeping bag. I sent it back as well. definitely not water proof. I don't think it would be possible to waterproof. perhaps with a separate outer shell
