Apply with fingers or a makeup brush. Color is a peach pink blend so it works all seasons and I would guess on most skin tones. Lasts well, and looks real natural if lightly applied. Not dull or cake-ey. I will always come back for this blush - the only brand I intend to use forever.

I love this blush. A super cute color. I don’t like powder blush-I prefer liquid or cream. This goes on so well and is a nice texture. They don’t sell this at Ulta anymore so I’m glad I could fond it on Amazon! I use a brush to apply but you could also use your fingers or a sponge. A little goes a long way and it’s very pigmented so it will last a long time. Love it!!

I am in my early 50s and have studied the trending makeup looks for more "mature" women. Less is more, excellent skin care, and cream-based products are all recommended. I'm a fan of Tarte cosmetics anyway, so I was excited to try the Maracuja Juicy Cream Blush in Rose. Until now, I have always used a powder blush, applied with a brush. I have a medium skin tone, not fair but not super tan, with gold undertones. This also changes from summer to winter, as I tend to be much more tan in summer. This shade is a perfect medium pink that gives a flushed glow, not too light and not too deep, and I think it would work for just about any skin tone. The consistency is creamy soft, so I run my fingertip (as opposed to a brush) lightly across the top to get a small amount to start with. I dab the cream on one cheek at a time, tapping lightly until blended. This is definitely buildable coverage, so you can use a little on your cheeks, nose, and forehead for a sun-kissed effect or a little more on your cheeks for work or evening. I love that it feels light and gives my skin a fresh look. I definitely try to stay away from makeup that appears thick and caked on, which settles into fine lines. I work full time and pretty much wear makeup 7 days a week, and one compact lasts me about 5 months. For travel and on-the-go, the cream blush can double as lip color. If I had to name a con, it would be that the cream doesn't dry immediately, especially the more you build on your cheeks. But, that's also what gives your face a dewy appearance and younger looking glow. This has by far become my go-to cheek color product and the shade compliments my skin tone year-round.
