I can tell you that the only jerky I can get better than this for cheaper is if I make it at home. The garlic ginger is top tier in texture and chew. If you want it tough get the cowboy instead it's super dry, the garlic ginger is more moist, but not grossly so, like most commerical products you buy. There is very little sugar in it and it's just an all around amazing flavor. That being said 35 bucks is still a lot of cash for what equates to a pound of beef. I understand margins and profits, so officially my recommendation is to get yourself a dehydrator, and a couple lbs of eye of round beef, and learn to slice thin, dry brine it overnight and then make a similar marinade to what you see on the ingredients here. Note that homemade jerky isn't shelf stable so keep in the fridge. If that sounds like a lot of work (maybe 1 to 2 hours of prep, 4 to 8 dry brine and another 3 to 4 dehydrating time), then I cannot recommend this product more than I already do for you. It's made by people that care. In addition, many of their different types of jerky are made texturally different, try their slabs, their tasting kitchen and their drys, I promise they have a jerky for you. Buy the smaller 2.5oz bags and taste several.

I love beef jerky and this one easily is in my Top 3. The jerky is a little wet at first because I got the 1 lb bag, but it is an amazing tough jerky with phenomenal flavor. You can savor this jerky for some time because it is chewy. The flavor is amazing, Garlic ginger sesame. Phenomenal is all I can say. I love heat but there is virtually no heat to this jerky, it is just filled with flavor. It has a little amount of fat that is so juicy and so robust with flavor. I rate this specific jerky a 9.1 out of 10.

We've purchased 4 bags of jerky from this company and have liked 3 of them.. the cowboy jerky (2 bags) and the chili lime (1 bag) were excellent.. good flavor, texture, etc.. but this flavor, the Garlic Ginger, although the flavor profile was decent was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. It was extremely tough. Not hard, not dry.. the others were a yummy dry, kinda tear apart, meaty jerky.. we all loved it. This one was a rock. On top of that, it had fat all over it.. not small pieces that add flavor but big chunks that ruin the experience. :( Definitely not recommended unless they sort out both the fat and hardness of this flavor. [UPDATE] I reached out to the company and they responded quickly and offered to replace the bag of jerky (I provided them pics of the fat, etc.) They were professional, explained that sometimes cuts with added fat make it into the batches but that they stand behind their products. We'll be buying more from them soon!

Got my package today and was just as normal, great flavor to it and the garlic is well balanced. I order the garlic ginger every month and they haven’t failed me yet

There's no ginger in this garlic ginger jerky. It's not listed in the ingredients, and it doesn't taste like ginger. It's good, it's just not ginger jerky.
