Polly Pocket Tiny Pocket Places Camping Compact! Shani Doll

I got this product to play with and it’s super fun. The fire can move back and fourth, the dolls is super cute, and the tent is pretty big. I recommend this Polly pocket but it’s a little over priced for the size.

My son has been dying to play with his big sister’s Polly pockets so I decided to find him one. It totally fits the bill! We had a mini boy Polly pocket doll so they traded and now he has a camping guy! I love that I can throw these little things in my purse for them to play with when we are out and need some quiet toys. The pieces don’t all fit when I try to close the heart so I keep them in a coin purse with a couple extras just in case.

We love that polly pockets are back! My 5yr old really enjoys them. This set is tiny. Made to be clipped to a backpack and carried around. It is difficult for her to fit all the accessories back inside by herself (doll, fire tripod, and telescope) so she usually only takes one at a time.

Initially this is an adorable outdoorsy theme perfect travel gift for young kids. Since our family is really into hiking and camping, I was thrilled to see this toy; however I disregarded some of the reviews that indicated it was cheaply made. Once removing the plastic packaging, the first time I opened the compact I noticed the orange tent would not budge or flip open as the diagram indicated. I could see there was a slight "lip" along the edge which I tried rotating, lifting and sliding but nothing budged. After gently trying to loosen the orange plastic I had to apply a little more force and it immediately broke right off. In addition, when trying to pack the compact with the small Polly and accessory pieces, I noticed all of the pieces would not fit and compact wouldnt close. On the plus side, I was excited to learn about the Polly Stick enhancement as my kids always have a hard time standing their Polly up with the gummy bear legs. It was a nice feature but did not make up for the broken tent. Overall Im disappointed with the quality and will not buy Polly compacts in the future. I will instead purchase the Shopkins lil secrets as they seem more durable and easier to assemble.

Little pieces are easily lost, but the set is fun.

Woman's hand in the picture. It's a bit smaller than I expected. It's also been 20 years since I've seen a Polly pocket.. It will be perfect for small hands. And has a bag clip. Im planning on buying a few more after checking prices in local stores. Great gift item. In the box it will fit in a stocking for Christmas. I'll be getting a few more to prep.

Very well done with a smart design. Even so small, it is perfectly playable. Only bad point: the lock of the box is not always good.
