We've done a couple other puzzle boxes like this, so it's more or less as expected. Interesting puzzles, cute LotR theming, and we had a lot of fun (four people playing). Overly dramatic readings are a must! They're single use, but for entertaining a group for the evening it's comparatively inexpensive.

I got for my brother who loves LOTR. He thoroughly enjoyed this escape game. I’d purchase again, if it wasn’t a one and done. Highly recommend for those who appreciate LOTR.

if though its level 2 but still challenging

For something rated 2 out of 5 for hardness it seemed difficult! Took a Scout patrol 4 hours 15 mins to complete with a couple of clues from an adult leader. You actually only properly destroy one part, and you get a second set of that bit, so with a little reconstruction you'd get a second play through for another group. The accompanying sounds from the optional app worked nicely too.

LOVED THIS GAME! Whether you are a LOTR fan or not - this is great fun! Stretches your brain, lots of surprises in store and helpful hints and tips when needed. Great fun! A brilliant gift or to host a games night.
