Extreme Hold Matte Pomade (35g)

Due to my hair getting longer in the apocalypse I needed something other than the lighter hild Reuzel (blue tin) that I normally use. This did not disappoint, smell is savage and the hold is exactly what i wanted. Warm up a piece between your palms and apply through hair for a great hold and a lovely matte finish. Extremely easy to re work too, without the need for water . As far as I'm concerned Reuzel products are untouchable in their field, while they may be just that little bit more expensive, after one use it will have justified the pricing .

Used to use Reuzel’s white tin but it never seemed to last the day and also smelt too minty to some (I liked it though!). Spoke to my barber about longer lasting alternatives and they suggested this. It definitely holds much better and lasts the day. It doesn’t feel greasy and also smells better, but I’m not sure what of! Also, and important for some, it’s very easy to wash out. Either way, I recommend picking this if you want something that smells nice but more importantly try holds your hair the entire day.

Great hair product, large size so lasts ages & ages. Light enough to style effectively but strong enough to hold up all day. Will purchase from the range again, also recommend their solid cologne which smells great.

I've tried many different hair styling products over the year, from waxes and gels that you find in a supermarket shelf (Fudge, VO5, Fish), to product used on you at barber shops, through to more expensive products like the Uppercut range (tried them all), Muk, Hands de Fuko etc) and whilst those product are great in their own way, this is by far the best I've ever used. For context, I'm mid-30s with straight hair that often goes limp with styling. I usually style my hair in a medium length natural parting or a messy quiff. Reuzel Extreme Hold Matte Pomade allows me to style my hair how I want it and it's really versatile. You can use as a pre styler before blow drying, after pre styling to finish a look, no pre styling on either dry or wet hair. If you want a matte look, use less. If you want a little more shine, use more. It will keep your hair in its style all day and it's really easy to wash out. Definitely worth having in your hair styling armoury. I usually pre and post style with this, or use Uppercut Matte Pomade as a pre style and this to finish the look.

Ive ordered this previously and it's usually a great product but this time im not sure what's happened to their quality control but when I opened the tin the pomade seemed to have dried up and shrunk and became rock hard! Very bad experience especially after I thought id found the hair product that works

Was really pleased with the size of the product. A big container with lots of wax inside. The product itself gives you a firm hold, without your hair looking greasy. It also has a really nice vanilla like smell so it makes your hair smell great. You just need to make sure you take a small amount of product and rub thoroughly in your hands before applying it. This way it will not clump up in your hair. This is no different to other waxes however. The wax is also easy to wash out and isn't like oil based waxes which you need to use lots of shampoo etc to get it out. I wash with just water and it comes out fine. If you want a Vegan friendly product, that has a long gold and smells great, then this is for you!
