Boraam Shaker Table, Black/Oak

I'm not one to write reviews. However, this table deserves my review. It is very sturdy. It is elegant. And super easy to put together. Just screw the legs to the table and you are done! This is a heavy table and well designed. It seats 6 people comfortably.I am in a wheelchair and I needed a table that would work for me, this table checks all the boxes. Its a great table. Buy it. You won't regret it.

This is a beautiful table. It's in a warm wood tone, solid oak, and its proportions are sleek, not clunky. It goes well with either traditional or modern furniture. Its size of 60" X 30" is perfect for a small apartment, yet it seats six. Plus it's reasonably priced.

Very happy for the price point. Easy to put together. I suggest a drill bit to make the process quicker. The chairs that go with it are good to at like $105 for a set of two. I would sway you away from the bench.It just does not add any beauty to the set at all. 6 chairs fit comfortably and look great. I did keep the bench to tuck on the side - but pretty much out of site because it is not attractive - but functional if you need space.

It is a beautiful table , unlike some I had no issue putting the legs on. In about fifteen minutes we had it standing up to use. It fits well in our small eat in space. While it is all wood it isn't real oak. They have stained it to look like oak, even so it is worth the price.

Packaging was damaged. So it will be very difficult to disassemble and return. Now I have to find a huge box for the table and also for the chairs! Table was fine. Quality is okay for this price point. But the top felt sticky in a few places. Quality is just ok. my son assembled within 5 min. Color WAY TOO ORANGE to enjoy this set. clashes. photos are deceptive. I feel honestly duped by black/oak. Scammed.. It should be pictured and/or described as black/gold. black/pumpkin orange. with just a touch of oak. Looks more orange than any photo and NOT ANYTHING like the stock photo. We are moving. So we now have it set up where we are moving. I am depressed. I went to the dollar store just to buy a few place mats to cover the ugly top/. Chairs are equally cheap orange. I do not know how I will find the energy to disassemble this and boxes big enough to get it back to amazon. The chairs arrived a day earlier so they were assembled first. I hoped the table would improve the look. NO! Once all together it is IMO a hideous 7 pc set in our dining area. It clashes with our standard oak. Now I am out of luck. Reselling it would be very hard to recoup anywhere near the price paid. Stuck with it-ugh~! I will try to add a photo. UPDATE: Added photo. It looks more orange than my phone photo! Th chair seats are also that orangey too. The floor looks dull but it a dark medium cherry. The open area has light oak traditional cabinets. I feel this was unintentionally false advertising. Amazon rep. says he is working to correct the stockphoto. I do not want others to be as disappointed and feel duped. Yes I saw others say orange but believe me when I say it. It is not just a little orange. Very gold like the one star on here. I wish amazon would make this right. In some homes this set may look okay but to reiterate this looks NOTHING like the stock photo! It is not right to burden customers with return etc when the product sent looks so little like a stock photo imo. Amazon says to send back in boxes (any boxes). Original boxes are drying out after a heavy rain. I am expected to drive these again 40 minutes away, disassemble it all and put back in well packaged boxes that are wet. Table box arrived damaged. It takes up the whole van and they are dirty and wet. When you move it is nice to not waste a van load and gas on empty boxes. I wish amazon would pick up this set without boxes. If it was a matter that I changed my mind then the burden falls on me. When a company has a photo that is way off they should pick it up "as is". It has the same odds arriving back to them without damage then if I repackage it. No way I can wrap it as well as it came. The chair parts would probably be easier to lose. I do not want this set but a refund. I wish amazon would pick it up/ What a mess to have to try and use these original rain soaked boxes or find huge boxes elsewhere or I lose close to $500. price of table and 6 chairs.

First off, this table is a "honey oak" stain. I don't know why that isn't listed in the product description, as it was clearly marked on the box the table came in. Regardless, the table is great! It's nice and sturdy, solid wood. There were two imperfections on the top surface, both scratches about 1/4" long. Assembly was easy, though I used a socket wrench to make sure everything was nice and snug instead of that silly tool they provided. I'm not sure about the previous reviewer; my table measures 60" x 36", as listed. Four people easily fit around the table. Six could be done, but might be a little tight.

Very well-made table, my only complaint is I wish it had different color finishes.
