Why did you pick this product vs others?: This product has a couple of features that some of the other products do not: A power cord that is not hard-wired and an indicator light on the front cover letting you see that it is powered up. Build quality: The reputation for high-quality products is another reason that I picked this product.

Purchased this power supply to replace an old one on an analog camera system. Installation was straight forward and seems to be working fine with 12 cameras attached. Good value for being able to power up to 18 cameras with one box.

This camera power supply works great. The screws that hold the wires to power supply are a little sketchy but everything else is good

Working great for the last few months.

I have a 9 camera cctv system around my home and I had problems with failing adapters as these had a 4 way splitter cable. I had 2 of these failed, so I started to look for a simple power-box that would be enough for my 9 cameras one of which is a PTZ dome. This product came up on the search and I decided because of the amps required for each camera that this would be the one to have. It was simple to fix on a wall near the DVR and along with some patch leads (pigtails) the unit was installed within two hours. I have it running from a small UPS unit as we have frequent short power-cuts and so far it has not stopped thus because of a 10 second power-cut. I recommend this unit if you need to power over 5 cameras

All seems to be working very well so far. It is so much neater than having all those plugpacks for cameras, etc in a powerboard. I am hoping this will also minimise fire risk if any of those had gone faulty at some stage. This supply allowed me to replace individual plugpacks for all my CCTV cameras, the DVR and also for 2 network storage drives. The one crucial factor that decided me on this particular supply was the plastic cover over the mains input connector strip - photos of other brands seemed to indicate this had not been done, making it so easy to accidentally touch bare screws at mains power levels. The only negative thing I have to say about this supply is the brightness of the LED indicators. The internal LEDs are almost blinding, making it difficult to see screw terminals when adding further connections unless you power off the 12v to everything. The external LEDs are also extremely bright - it is a lighthouse attracting attention to the location of the central power supply for a security component. Considering this item is only meant to be used indoors, I cannot see a need for such bright indicators.

Sorted out my cctv problem

Appears to be well manufactured. Exactly what I needed. Curious why there’s 18 connections at 1.1amp but the power supply is only 10amp. I’m using it for CCTV so it appears I’m limited to 9or 10 cameras.
