I love the concept of writing down preseason thoughts, competitive analysis, team assessments. Writing a game analysis which includes a players strengths and weaknesses and a teams strengths and weaknesses allows you to reflect on critical success factors that will improve your mental preparation and performance going forward. I'm a big believer in personal goals so being able to use this tool to track your effectiveness is brilliant.I had no idea how many world class athletes use journals to improve their performance in a sport.
