My wife uses this product and states that it is the best ever. I asked her recently if there were hairdressers in the city who do the same thing with similar products and results. She again stated “yes”, but she much prefers to do the job herself and never has to worry about paying too much for a poor job. And this is the exact product she wants. Nothing else. Does not even want to try a different product. She is totally committed to this brand, this product, regardless of price.

Due to the lockdown I had to find a solution for relaxing my hair since hair salons have been closed in T.O since November and was overdue for my next perm (5 months post-perm). I have always gone to a professional hair salon to relax my hair - never used a box perm kit - so wasn’t to sure if this box perm could achieve the same straightness and smoothness as the professional use relaxers. My hair is thick (new growth popping) and long, just past my shoulders, and the ORS no-lye Relaxer - Normal was able to straighten my hair - edges and all!! I was quite impressed! Safe on the scalp - did not get that same degree of a burning sensation like with the professional use perms. You definitely need someone to apply it for you if your hair is long and course and the time chart is not accurate for my hair texture and length - way to short - had to exceed. I may not need to go back to the hair salon for my perms and save some money ($25 vs $95). If the pandemic never happened I would have never known that a box perm can work in my hair and I can do it at home if the hairdresser is closed for a long time. What a relief 😅!!
