Nice E-Reader with cool features
1. Yes, the name states color e reader. But keep in mind this picks up certain a colors. It won’t be as vivid as your tablet or phone. The colors appear more mute see image! . 2. Screen was great no issues, no specks! 3. If you’re having issue with ghosting. The settings I used had the least amount of ghosting + good quality! * Remember to do this for EVERY APP! Steps : Open E-Ink Center Color mode : optimal Refresh mode : speed Refresh mode -> More A pop up box will appear with two tabs For HD : Turn ON -> System Refresh Drag to refresh -> set to 2S When scrolling use : HD Current app : set to 5 Animation Filter -> set to 20 For Speed : Anti Flicker -> set to 2 4. Has two speakers, sounds pretty nice! 5. Semi-User friendly… you might need to watch a few TikTok’s for some “how to” 6. It’s android based so you can download other apps! Like Libby, kindle, Spotify 7. It has BooxDrop, which is (your own) personalized QR + Link to upload stuff from your laptop or cellphone (images, files etc)

Do your research on color vs black and white
If you're used to how bright white the Kindle and other ereaders are, don't expect that on any color eink device. It looks dim in comparison. I got used to it just fine and the trade off for color and full android is worth it for me. The weight is perfect it's quite light. The buttons are responsive, maybe a little soft. Quality feels so so, it feels a lot more fragile than my Paperwhite or Nook. If you're not familiar with android you will have a tough time setting it up. This is not a device ready to use out of the box. Battery life sucks compared to a Kindle. I have to charge it every other day. I do keep it on wifi for productivity, so I'm unsure with WiFi off. The stylus works just fine and is quite doable for a notebook. Just don't expect it to replace an iPad or bigger e ink tablet.

Boox is the best E-reader!
I am loving my Boox! I actually bought a Kindle Colorsoft and Bigme B7 color to try them all, and I've returned them. These are the pros and cons. Kindle Colorsoft pros: -Longest battery life. -Color ink. Cons: -Kindle only options so no other reading apps like Libby, Hoopla, or Kobo. Bigme pros: -Runs on Android, so I was able to have all my reading apps in one place. -The best color e-ink out of them all. -Loved the buttons. -Came with pen and case. Cons: -Battery was the worst out of them all. -Doesn't have very many options for accessories or cases. Boox pros: -Runs on Android, so I was able to have all my reading apps in one place. -Battery life is mid, but it has an auto power off option after inactive use for an hour, which I love! -Has access to multiple accessories like a clear case and charging charms, similar to Kindle. -Loved the buttons. Cons: -Has the most Ghosting, but you can set one of the gestures as the refresh button, so it's still not a huge con.

Poor hardware esp as a 2nd Gen device an does not have the Onyx Notes app
I hate to give something a 1 star rating. I have a bigger boox device (4C) that I is an outstanding device. I bought this device so that was not so big to use in travel or short infomal meetings. I use the Onyx Note app heavily - it is an excellent app. This device came factory wrapped with no indication of mistreatment. The screen suffers as described in most of the one star reviews here. Random input, no input and seems as if the device is frozen at times. It was unusable. I didn't get a chance to test with a stylus, as I seemed to get something that had been returned to Amazon with a stylus that was not the original. Worse is that the Onyx Note app is not part of the software installed. I wanted to have my notes on both of my Boox devices. I knew size would be an issue, but I was willing to deal with that. I suppose if the device worked, I could load another app. But I use handwriting for Notes which can be searched and you can setup tags. Assuming you sync stuff with the onyx cloud, you can have this in multiple devices. I had to return the device as unusable because of the hardware. But it also is just a reader with a stylus support that has no real purpose. Bummer.

Great e-reader!!
The Boox Go Color 7 is a great product! I previously used a kindle paper white, but now I think I prefer the Boox. There is a learning curve to figuring out how to operate the Boox, but once you get the hang of it, it is easy. I love that I can download books straight from Libby and Kindle Unlimited. You can also use Boox drop to send epub files over Bluetooth! Weight and screen wise, the Boox is lighter and easier to hold. There is a grip to the back of it, and the buttons make it easy to turn the page. The screen quality is great, and I love that you can see the colors in the books. There is some ghosting to the screen, so this is something to consider if you do not like that. The battery life is great as well! Overall, I love the usability of the Boox Go color, and I would recommend this product.

Well you won't usually find this product being advertised much in India. But it is a good alternative to your all day Android needs except for heavy tasks. If you are too much into web browsing and reading and don't want to strain your eyes then this is perfect solution... A blend of Android aswell as ereader... Only issue is you won't find its case easily. Also you can use it if you find your kids addicted to mobiles and don't want to strain their eyes.

I was so excited to get this ereader because it's Android. I found it easy to set up and download all my apps, etc. But the navigation was so slow. It was always freezing and i needed to restart it constantly. When reading in BorrowBox, if I decided to change the settings, the app would close and I had to restart it and navigate back to my book. A bit inconvenient considering the price. It may be that Borrowbox is a large app and the boox hasn't got enough memory to keep it open when changing the settings, but that was why I bought it, to read library books. Though I don't have that problem with Borrow box on my 8.1 Android Galaxy tab A which is 9 years old. It's just an eye burner to read books on for extended periods. Considering the boox is Android 14, it shouldn't have that problem. Also the ghosting and lagging were too much considering the price. And the colour isn't any great advantage. It's more economical and convenient to buy the books from Amazon and use my kindle than to buy the boox device.

I dont usually write revirws but this product deserves a for better score than what it gets It is an e reader but it also works with android, this means you are able to run any android app on it, every docume t that works on android will also work here Of course this also means that you ha e a lot of freedom to do things in the wrong way, if you try to run apps that are not compatible with the android version, if you try to run apps that require high refresh rate, it wont work and i think this is where most of the bad reviews are comming from Then again if you research just a little this is far supperior to other restrictive expensive products, i can not recommend it enough

This is my 1st e-ink device. I thought my expectations regarding the washed out look of the color versions was tempered well enough going but the reality was much starker than expected. Think old newspaper print instead of glossy magazine and you should be ok. Getting used to though I find it an overall great device that much easier to read on than my cell. The android environment is also a major plus giving me complete freedom on sources I can get my reading kicks from.
